Nice! Thanks for the content and insight man. Nothing compares to largemouth on topwater in my opinion. What's your rod/line setup here? Keep crushin' it.
I am working on finishing up a video going over all my rod wts and line choices. I will say I keep it all 7-9wts and for the lines theres way to much to talk about over a message. I will have the video up later this week!
Additionally, what kind of line are you throwing with? Is that Scientific Angler line an intermediate line? Full sinking I'm assuming?
I will have a video tomorrow breaking down my line set ups!
Dig the video. What is your boat setup?
@@Newt125 I have been asked a couple times now, I will make a video about it this weekend and get that out Monday!
Second this. Looking for a boat to fish rivers, creeks, and small lakes like this. Definitely subbing though!
whats your leader setup for top water? I usually do 3' of 40 lb 2' of 30lb then 1' of 20lb. But I'm wondering if there's a better formula?
I'm out in Utah and feel like people are missing out on the bass game on the fly out west.
@@tyrellosterud7788 100% they are missing out. Bass are so underrated in the fly word, it’s all about trout out west but honestly for you it’s probably better because no one is crowding the bass rivers 😂😂
My leaders are always 40 or 35 for 2 feet, then 30 for 2 feet, 20 for 2 feet then my “tippet which is most of the time is 2 foot, giving me always a standard 6 foot leader, then my tippet will be anything just condition dependent meaning sometimes I run 17lb or 15lb for dirty water or big bugs, 14lb or 12lb for stained water with big or small bugs, and then 10lb for gin clear conditions I get mid summer.
what wt rod are you using
@@muuundo1074 I just released a video
