Dress is wonderful on you. Looks so good in viscose. I love the line across the base of the bodice and find it very flattering. I use a fabric glue pen on my invisible zips now as I find it easier to get the pins through. Lovely skirt and an amazing weekend. Thanks for sharing. 😊 Lynne

That pink top and skirt looks great on you. And that sleeve on the dress is just beautiful! Reminds me a little of the sleeve on the Balloon top from Pattern Emporium which I’ve just bought… and is planned soon. Sounds like your Retreat was great. 👍

Lovely dress, I fully understand what you mean about arms. As I've got older ( I'm much older than you) the top of my arms have got much bigger but from the elbow down I'm like a stick insect and I hate them.
We all have areas we don’t like don’t we I think it’s more dressing so we’re happy & comfortable

I'm not far from Amble. My late husband's family originate from there. It's lovely, especially in the summer and the fish and chips (and the ice cream) are legendary! I'm still trying to work out, in my head, where that fabric shop is in Morpeth but I will look properly on Friday when I drive past where Google maps reckons it is!
We parked in Manchester Street/road turned left at the end and it was in the right Liz
@@SewLikeDotty Thanks Alison. When I find it, I'll let them know that Google maps has it much further north, on the other side opposite the Mitford turning...unless I put the postcode in wrongly 🤔 I'll check again. I'm determined to find it. Morpeth used to have The Sewing Box but the lockdowns finished that one off, I think.

All your makes look lovely but I particularly like your Judy, which is one of my favourites - I’ve made two so far. Try a light cotton poplin if you make it again. I got some lovely navy shirting poplin from Fabworks and it makes the sleeves extra poofy, which is my favourite part. You look as if you could go a size down if you make it again. I like how a tighter bodice emphasises the fullness of the skirt. What a lovely weekend. Love the Fish Shack!
I think I could drop a size but the shoulders fit well so I’m not sure
