    when you said that he respects SE dom i related to that so much. one of friends is and i swear the reign of simplicity with witch he sees the world is befalling to me. i am sitting overanalyzing something for hours and he just goes with his gut response. and even f i am correct he doesn't care. he cant look to plan even an hour into the future. he is just like " it hasn't happened yet i don't need to think about it'". this is a level of nirvana i hope to achieve one day.

      there are cons that come with that though. lack of ni is unsustainable and can lead you to some sticky situations which can affect your happiness. i know in the video she says "happiness in the general sense doesnt lie in ni", but when used well, ni results in long-term, sustainable happiness. too much se and not enough ni leads to burnout and unfulfillment which leads to unhappiness. ive seen it in my esfp friend who is a paramedic and always on the go. he complained recently about how "sad his life is" :( balance between the functions (as with all functions and their opposites) really matters

    Honestly, couldn't have picked a better guy for this. But ENFJs are so varied, I think it's one of the types with most enneagram possibilities (even a 5 doesn't sound impossible)

    • @vizuz
      @vizuz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      They are varied yes, but I think most ENFJs are type 3s. It's just that the Fe-Ni functions are the most chameleon-like functions where they can morph into whatever the situation calls for. And enneagram 3 is also about morphing into the desired image that gets the most love from the world. So both the enneagram and the Jungian functions are all about morphing into something.

    ENFJ here! You know, I think I didn't experience much of the latest observation... I'd rarely respond to conflict and usually just look for a way to restore harmony. But I think this has to do with me also being enneagram type 9. Lately I have learned that sometimes, it's impossible to reach a common ground, unfortunately... and it's healthy to learn how to stand for ourselves too. You can be firm, without being violent. It's the learning of a lifetime... Oh and apart from that, I see all these traits you pointed out in the conversation, and I think I share most of that too...I am actually proud to share the same type as him 🙌🏽✨ thank you 😊

  • @32dramaqueen
    @32dramaqueen ปีที่แล้ว +2

    it's so interesting to see the words "happiness in the general sense doesnt lie in ni" because i recognize as an ni user that i need se for in the moment happiness, and ni for sustainable, long-term happiness. i've seen se doms burn out all too many times from chasing happiness through parties or drinking or drugs or always being on the go only to say at the end of it "my life is so sad" or "nothing i have in my life actually matters" (both quotes from se doms in an ni grip). it seems to me that ni users often find out that happiness resides in balance. not necessarily overuse of one function over the other. interesting how both extremes lead to unhappiness. i wonder if that can be said about all of the functions

    • @32dramaqueen
      @32dramaqueen ปีที่แล้ว

      what i mean is, i think that both functions (ni and se) can be used in both healthy and unhealthy ways for or against happiness. does that make sense? i feel like this is a typical conclusion all ni/se users come to at multiple points, but it really fascinates me. its why i think mbti is so useful to teach: it shows the importance of balance and healthy usage of the function pairs.

    2Pac is an INTJ. That entire conversation he was communicating Te (How?). We communicate through our 2nd function. An ENFJ would be communicating through Ni about feeling. Although he was expressing empathy for his cousin from similar experience (INTJ, Fi, Child), he wasn't mirroring his cousins pain (Fe). His Fe expression through out are inline with his Fi feeling in the moment, he doesn't smile at the interviewer to be nice to them, he smiles when he finds something satisfying, or endearing or nice. An ENFJ would want the interviewer to be comfortable, maybe would even avoid discussion some these topics so intimately. I love 2Pac, he just gets typed wrong everywhere.

    He was 17 years old in this video by the way. Had he had more time to grow and lived on(he woukd have been 50 years old today) we could have witness more of a mellow tone side of him, possibly more acting and talk show type arena and less music(unless performing for a particular cause or celebration).

      Same here and I have been listening to the guy's music for YEARS, yet I never noticed the harmonious feminine aura in his expressions until now. I suppose this is what happens when one puts too much focus on an artist's craft without properly dissecting/peeking into the artist himself.

      Hiii!!I would suggest you to search about 8 cognitive functions if you haven’t done that yet. It really helped me to understand my type. Also there is a HUUUUGGEE difference between INFP and ENFJ even though they both share NF. You will realize these differences by searching more about the cognitive functions so it is really important for you to understand your exact type. You can look for a video on youtube or read this very detailed article. Please try to find the ones that you relate most and find the personality type that carries those functions!I wish you lots of luck in this journey of yours. I hope you find your type asap!!✨✨💖

    Ti inferior and Fe dom, worst nightmare for us ENTJs. My dad is ENFJ and every conversation turns into a drama. i spent tons of time to do the research and come up with facts to support my logical consistent statements but he just ignores all of that. Not only as Te dom I feel so disrespected, but whenevever I criticize his lack of rationale and that discrediting a person's argument without research and facts to back up is very disrespectful and wrong, he takes that personally and pull out emotional cards, bullying my Fi inferior just because he could. But see emotional manipulation ain't gonna prove your point, Te is convinced by a combination of Ti and Se (logic and evidence) and my Fe demon couldn't care less about "harmony"
