1998 Chrysler Town & Country LX at U-Pull Salvage Yard in Minnesota

Recorded on 06/08/2023 at U-Pull-R-Parts in East Bethel, Minnesota.
This is a good one for me, I have two in this PG8 green. Almost completely rust free, definitely didn't see too many winters. I snagged the hood and hatch so far... might be back with a cutoff wheel ;)

My father in law had a 2003 it had 310k miles on it when the transmission and fly wheel needed replaced obviously he did not replace anything just just it.

IF you ever happen to see a gen 2 minivan with AWD I need the gas tank straps they are impossible to find

I can't remember what aisle the rachet straps are in at Menards.... lol. Does Rock Auto not have them? I'm always looking, yet to see one. There was one on Marketplace up in Fargo a few months ago... there will be a video if one comes into the yard. (:

@@MNMoparMinivan thanks man! But no since they were of corse only mad a few years they arnt made anymore they are part numbers 4486443 and 4486444 one side clips into the fram and the other is held by a bolt. I’m driving It around now I just haven’t done another video since I sold my 96.

I wonder if any of those 3rd gens also had the same problem with rain water gushing through the blower motor housing on the passenger side....
Seems to be an unfixable thing...

I've had water in on the passenger side floor on my 97. The drain for the wiper cowl was plugged full and caused water to fill and overflow into the vehicle when it rained. Make sure thats unclogged.

@@MNMoparMinivan It is, there's a design flaw letting heavy rain water in by the fresh air inlet on the firewall. No real solution for this problem...
