    This test was a little inconclusive. The cup noodles are made so you just pour in hot water and let them sit and that is the effective way of cooking. The packaged noodles are suppose to be boiled until they are cooked. By just pouring hot water and covering you are not cooking the noodles all the way which results in the staleness you said you experienced. Also you consumed the entire cup noodles while allowing the packaged to sit. I would advise properly cooking the packaged noodles and then post your observations as you simultaneously eat the noodles comparing them.

    Btw, to those who are confused about whether to get black shin or shin. Always get the regular shin ramyun, because black shin has a more pronounced earthy flavor, which I dislike but you might like it, so unless you like that, go with the standard shin.

    This is Shin Noodles cup I had yesterday afternoon 🇿🇦 and it was... 🤯🥵 8/10 spicy for me! The cup did say gourmet spicy. The soup sachet is a little bigger than the Maggi brand 🍜. There were tiny cutlets of dried shitake mushroom and scallion(green onion), which is actually more flavourful than Maggi 2min 🍜. I do feel a little sweaty and running nose from eating the 🍜 and broth. It only costed ZAR37 per cup at Kwikspar near my house. Maybe I would have Korean 🍜 like once a month or every two months? You be the judge!

    I strain mine and don’t have as much water in my so the spice will actaully sticks to the noodles then.... having it in water just runs off the noodles try staining it but you can add some of the water back if needed

  • @damienlow9467

    the bowl ramen has a circle line inside , water should reach that level

    • @sobaldman8375
      @sobaldman8375 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can put a bit lower than that level to experience more taste in the broth

  • @hayleygraham4921

    Also u don’t have to boil the pack it does tell you to but I just put them in a close fitting air tight container then add boiling water close lid and leave to sit for 5 mins

    Tbh the noodles on that package taste like garbage comparing to the original one from South Korea... I'll rather eat the noodle cup over the American version of Shin Ramen package.

  • @poppetx

    boil the packaged ones in a saucepan for 4-8 mins depending on how stiff you like your ramen. you cooked them wrong they will be too stiff.

  • @hejoaaja_bhholi7937
    @hejoaaja_bhholi7937 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    It’s the same bloody thing other than cup noddles being thin compared to the package one. At the end the purpose of cup noddle is so that it can be easier to eat wherever you are just pour the hot water wait a mins and it’s ready.
