Legendary Scorbunny just screams "Scorbunny and Mewtwo's twisted offspring" for some reason, imo. I can only imagine what a legendary Cinderace would look like with some resemblance to Deoxys and Mewtwo. (maybe make it Fire/Psychic and sprinkle in references to G-Max Cinder in there, too? Hell yeah, buddy!)

I think it’s because legendaries lately have been a lot more detailed and deviate from the usual simple format. Most of these read as megas/final evolutions, but that doesn’t make them bad designs at all. I want them all lol, especially fennekins!
@@michaelcastro8200 Oh yeah, I like all of them too! I just feel like even Legendarys in the earlier gens that weren't as detailed like Lugia still had that powerful/mystical vibe. I think it's probably the proportions that are throwing me off more than anything. I really like the fennekin one too as well as sprigattito's! The fennekin would make a great replacement for an alternative middle stage. Not too detailed but elevated the concept further
These were awful designs... there was a Mudkip face on mega swamp body.. An issue is that there was no purpose behind the designs. Guardians of forest? Volcano god? Use the region they're from to create lore. Gave us 16 designs and all misses. . Cyndaquil on the thumbnail seemed cool, but zooming out realized its really stiff

My favorite legendary starters of the lot are as follows: Bulbasaur(#5), Charmander(#6), Fennekin(#1), Tepig(#2), Piplup(#3), and Sprigatito(#4). I like the design choices for these guys. For example, legendary Fennekin definitely looks like something I’d want to run in a game, even as a final starter evolution. Same can be said about Sprigatito too. Tepig’s legendary design kind of reminds me of Ganondorf’s Demon King form from Legend of Zelda. Excited to see more of these legendary starters! P.S: I think it’d be cool to see Shadow variants of legendaries. Something to think about.😉
So many designs in 1 video 🤩 So cool! I prefer the ones based on the starters themselves. My dream mechanic in Pokémon is like Mega evolution for first stages so you could for example have Squirtle on your team the whole game since it has a powered up form it can go into during battle

If this video gets a second part, I wanted to see how would the Legendari-fied Starters integrate into the lore of their region, since a lot of Legendaries have their ties to the region with only a few exceptions such the Bird Trio just being rare powerful Pokemon
Legendary Rowlett definitely looks like a Mythical Pokémon in the same vein as Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and Manaphy, but in a Darkrai way, if it makes sense. Feels like a fusion of Celebi and Darkrai.
But the Legendary Beasts *ARE* cats. From one of the artist's interview I've seen in Google Images. Saying that Entei's a lion, Raikou's a tiger, and Suicune's a leopard.
With the Squirtle line being my very first choice (I started with Red/Blue gen with Blue) the artwork for Squirtle was perfection IMO, keep on with the great content 🤙

Awesome work overall. really like Rowlet in particular. And yes I would love to see the rest of the Starters. Regarding Empoleon, it's Steel Type is very well presented in it's design. It has the crown features, the claws and the razor-like wings. It's defiantly represented there. And as for Meowscarada I get why people wanted it be non-humenoid but it still looks excellent, it's defiantly the best looking final starter evolution of Gen 9 for sure.
These look great which out of these are my favorite that being Fuecoco, Piplup, Mudkip, Tepig, Chespin, & Squrtle, but as for the Rowlet instead of a legendary it reminds me of bird version of Marshadow

The new Legendary version of Cyndaquil is still pretty cute in my opinion. I've always loved Typhlosion and Hisuian Typhlosion, as well, though, lol. Even though I love Fennekin's canon line already, this new version is also still very cute. Foxxos; go fig. The new Scorbunny form is also pretty cute. It may still look kind of intimidating, but still, not bad. But, of course, when aren't bnnuys cute? And no, that's not a typo, lol. The Sprigatito Legendary, as well, is still very adorable. I personally can't say that I would take any of these over their final evolutions, though; especially in the case of Delphox or Meowscarada. I do personally tend to like a lot of the anthropomorphic Pokemon like Lucario, Blaziken, Lopunny, Delphox, Meowscarada, or Cinderace.
You can easily make legendary Emboar based off Ganon from The Legend of Zelda series as Ganon is a demon boar. Plus I think the original Emboar’s design is inspired off Ganon.
8:11 Okay, I'm not gonna lie: I'm content with Delphox's design, but that "Legendary Fennekin" looks like a really solid alternative that I'd also be more than happy to have. Plus it would shut those anti-bipedal fans up good and proper.
You know what? I'm making the call, and I think the legendary versions of Charmander and Bulbasaur are gonna be the box art legendaries for Pokémon Crimson and Ivy.

Torterra would be a child of Arceus and the only thing it needs is a halo to symbolize his legendary status. Because you can't improve on perfection

I’d like the idea to have starters pokemon have the stats of pseudo legendaries.
What's the type of the Legendary version of Bulbasaur?
There are still missing: Meganium, Feraligatr, Sceptile, Samurott, Quaquaval, Inteleon, Primarina, Incineroar, Serperior, Infernape and Torterra.
All of their Legendary Versions are awesome, cool, majestic, & scary 😨. My favorites are The Kalos Starters.
A legendary Feraligatr would look like Monsterverse-Godzilla(2014).
Legendary Blastoise, Empoleon and Emboar were awesome. I also support to have more quadrupedal starterts and Sprigatito legendary look great.
