  • Tiananman Square. Beijing. This was my first time visiting this sacred place. A site filled with so much history, a place so important in Chinese culture.
We woke up at 4am to attend the Flag Raising ceremony at sunrise, during the Chinese New Year, and were joined with hundreds of thousands of other people.
I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do!

I hope people all over the world can understand that the text on the right side of Tiananmen Square means: Long live the great unity of the people of the world!
Westerners cannot understand how excited Chinese people are when standing in Tiananmen Square.
Five thousand years have passed, and we are the only civilization that has continued. No amount of difficulties have defeated us for five thousand years. Today, we still stand at the top of the world, breathing with people all over the world.
"Long live the great unity of the people of the world" is our common dream, and we hope that people all over the world can live with dignity and happiness on this planet.
We hope to move towards the next 5000 years with the people of the world, and we hope to receive respect from the world, just as we respect them, we are all one family.

Look, the west does get a lot of things wrong but LGBTQ rights really should not be a victim of western imperialism and duplicity. LGBTQ are very victimized group of people and just because we dislike some of the bad western stuff does not mean they got everything wrong. Being kind and elevate victimized people should be a universal value. Maybe China will do it differently and probably well find a better way to create a more equitable society for LGBTQ people but don't lump them in with western inadequacies.

Most Western media never show that the PLA tank actually ran around the tankman and some students dragged him into the crowd. Selective reporting at its finest. BTW, the tankman is still alive today.

    • @Faye_Liu
      @Faye_Liu 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

It is not just selective reporting, it is false reporting. Not a single protester got ''massacred'' on the Square, a massive lie told by Western MSM for 35 years (later confirmed by US own diplomatic cables and foreign diplomats on the Square). The truth is they exited the square orderly and safely in that early morning after negotiations with the PLA. Most deaths and casualty (official figure around 600 not some 10,000 falsely claimed by the West) were from violent riots, many of whom were unarmed young PLA soldiers. It was a FAILED colour revolution incited by the US/West.

I have been to Tiananmen once back in 2016. It was the night before National Day, and there were so many people. You had to arrive before 2:00 am or you couldn't enter. After waiting almost the entire night, I was so exhausted that I could barely stand on my feet. However, when the music started, I got excited and stood up instantly to see the flag rising while singing the national song with others. It's definitely a memorable experience, and worth waiting so long to see the ceremony, but I would never go again, because it's so exhausting🤣

China is too weak in its propaganda. Tiananmen Square, which is a source of pride for the Chinese nation, is often depicted in media controlled by hegemony with photos of flag bearers and guards to create an atmosphere of a "police state." I think China could also learn from the advanced experiences of the West by frequently using photos of the Queen's Royal Guards to depict a feudal monarchial atmosphere, or by promoting and educating more people about Afghanistan, Yemen, various proxy wars initiated by the United States, or at least Guantanamo Bay or Fort Detrick to return the favor.

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Philippine Palimbang massacre of Muslim by Ferdinand Marcos
The Malisbong Masjid or H. Hamsa Tacbil Mosque massacre, also called the Palimbang massacre, was the mass murder of Muslim Moros by units of the Philippine military on September 24, 1974, in the coastal village of Malisbong in Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat, Mindanao.[1][2] Accounts compiled by the Moro Women's Center in General Santos state that 1,500 male Moros aged 11-70 were killed inside a mosque, 3,000 women and children aged 9-60 were detained - with the women being raped - and that 300 houses were razed by the government forces.[1] The massacre occurred two years after Ferdinand Marcos declared martial law in September 1972.[4]
The massacre started after the first four days on the fast of Ramadan when members of the Philippine Army arrived and captured barangay officials along with 1,000 other Muslims. For more than a month, the military murdered residents of the area. Testimonies show that victims were made to strip and dig their own graves before being killed by gunshot.[5]

Actually, more and more people including many of those who participated or even leaded the demonstration at the Tiananmen Square start to clarify that there is no "The Massacre of Tiananmen square". For example, a lot of people watched the very famous video of "The Tank Man". But it only showed the person stood in front of the first one of a queue of many tanks. The tank stopped and turned left and right to try to avoid him. He did not get hurt even climbing to the top of the tank. Eventually, he was pulled away by someone like his fellow. If such a scene could be filmed and spreaded out widely in the world, it is hard to believe that no one single picture or video left about "The Massacre of Tiananmen Square".

5:24 When it's showing the pic of Chairman Mao. There are two sentenses on the left and right of his picture. The left one is "long live People's Republic of China" which is normal. The right one is "long live the unite of world's people". Most time I think the modern western people don't understand that feeling. China is a united country since over 3000 years ago. We always believe that people in everywhere of the world are the same. People saying in the western media that we have no choice but to support the government, which is not true. When I gradutated from the U.S. staying 6 years there completing my bachelor and master degrees. I can simply stayed there and never came back to China. But I didn't. I came back immediately after graduation and I never regreted about it. Now you guys all can have that 7 day's VISA to China. Do come and see with your own eyes. Welcome to my hometown Shanghai, which is called "newbie's villege for westerners" in Chinese social media, as you can find all the familiar brands and sights here.

Tiannanmen incident was a pure western staged protest just like anywhere else. Just wonder where were those student leaders now? All left the country somehow despite in a high security China at that time. Still semi closed then but capable to end up in the US, Canada, Australia,, UK, etc.
One thing which I am sure, all are being left rotten in the West and forgotten after being used and their services expire.😢Poor fools brainwashed w Democracy, Freedom n HR but in reality more for geopolitical interests!
Name some of the leaders' names or the whereabout now, if I think u r so righteous and well informed by western media.
Even the tank man was not crushed by tanks in the cut video in the western prooaganda. That's what Trump called Fake News! 99% are to swing opinions and set the evil narratives. Again the same in HK and unreported. The west just can't come to terms that the rest of the world have since educated and developed to see through their insidious and colored lenz.

Western people like to describe the country as autocratic dictatorship, I don't know if this is a strategic intention or ignorance of the country's history, the multi-party system of rotating rule is a disaster for the country, we have seven or eight minority areas, if universal suffrage is implemented, the country will gradually fall into division and chaos, I believe this is what Western strategists are looking forward to.
