I frickin' love that that Evo 5. If I have enough money to save up in the future, I want to import one so badly! But, a man can only dream.
Also is it just me who now wants an evo. They look so good when these nutters are throwing them around a track. I have had the Civic and a integra and loved them both.
They are a different animal when on track 🙂 haven't had a fully stock but a slight and quite modified evo 5 on track a few times loads of fun 🙂

incredible performance from the WRX and EVO lancer. That said the NSX will always count as one of those unobtainable dream cars from yester year. A true japnese mid engine marvel. On dirt the WRX would have kicked ass, I suppose!

Damn, pad kickback sent DK off the track. Usually DK pumps the brakes in the long straights for this very reason.

I gould like to see this kind of races, but with actually sport cars, not drag races
Or drift. Majority of the videos from the West like North America are drag and drift. None of the videos has races like this.

Around a track that isn't as highspeed as fuji, the evo would have eaten the NSX for breakfast, got the fastest lap time here too. And I'm saying that as a NSX fanboy.

Ain’t no way a couple of Evos are straight boat racing a 996 911 on a high-speed track. If you believe that, I’ve got some beachfront property in Rwanda to sell you.

They had to find the heaviest driver and put him in the NSX. Also what’s up with the 100kg of like audio equipment in the passenger seat? Only one other car in the race had something in the passenger seat.
That was video equipment in every car with on board cameras - not only the NSX. Back in these days you needed this kind of big and heavy recording units for multiple cameras. The reason you see it on the passenger seat of the NSX: It has only two seats and no space behind them - in all the other cars there was enough room for the equipment on the back seats (even in the Porsche).

All the cars are stock. The NSX has a low drag and low height design like the 355. Power to weight ratio is excellent with only 270 hp engine.
The Type S-Zero is a slightly lighter version of the normal NSX Type S. But it's stock.
F355 easly to break a brake no neccesary to get on

Well, I'll explain the reason NSX won the race.
there are mainly 2 reanson.
The drive, Gan-san, he is the oldestman. He drove freely without gentlmens' rule. Actually he blocked F360.
that is the privillage of the oldest man in JAPAN.
The second reason is the TV show bollowed those expensive cars from other orners. they drove gently but not NSX.
The driver in the NSX drove like a stolen car but not other drivers
What are you talking about? There was no F360 in this race.
