It definitely is for dirty areas for sure but good practice over all. If you are in a really clean area the. A super light cote would be more than enough

@@johnnysweekends Thanks for the fast reply to my question. It started right up on natural gas. Doing the breaking an hour for the next 5 days, then changing the break in oil with good synthetic oil. Like to have it last. Thanks again!
How do you clean the oil extractor/syringe? I tried "rinsing" it with WD 40 and squirted it all out. When I went to use it again the plunger waa stuck inside the tube like I epoxied it. It won't come apart. I bought a 2nd one because I liked it so much but want this one to last. Appreciate any tips. Thanks!
@johnnysweekends Yes, bought it from your link. The plunger is all the way down in the tube and will not budge. I think the O-rings swelled up. I took it apart otherwise and tried to tap it out using a large phillips #3 screw driver but it waa a no go. Thanks, though. It's a great item otherwise.

Great overview. I’ve never oiled any of my filters on any machine. I thought that was for mostly used in areas with alot of dirt and sand areas.

Thanks for the video! So you'd recommend that 0.02 gap for both propane and natural gas? There isn't a different gap for if you run NG exclusively?

I don’t clean it really. But if you bought the one I listed it comes apart on the back. It just unscrews and came with extra orings

just received my genmax 10500, ran it for an hour with full synthethic 10w-30. Was I supposed to do just conventional instead? please help
You won’t hurt it, just change the oil frequently and use a decent name branded oil.
Pennzoil platinum is the best unless you wanna buy Amsoil
