Hanten Jacket from upcycled Denim: Cut and Sew DIY

I've made another Hanten jacket and this time I'm much happier with the final garment. This was made from 4 pairs of denim jeans using my modified version of the Hanten pattern. processes covered include modifying the traditional pattern, trialling and fitting sleeves, as well as flat-felled and French seams.

If you have the time, cut your pattern from an old bed sheet first and put it together rough… it’ll give you an idea of how the final garment will look and you’ll get to practice all the steps before cutting up the real fabric… but good luck with whatever you try.
