Fun! The thing is that you did it. We get better the more we try. I've been sewing for 60 years. It is always a learning process. We just never stop learning.
Turned out so good! I did a pair of jeans but I didn’t think about taking the garment apart. It’s kind of a shrunken kimono silhouette. I could see enlarging it a bit. It’s very cool.
I think I'll try something similar so I can use up my off cuts and scraps. I hate waste and have a collection of mix n match materials. I buy my fabrics from charity shops such as curtains bedding and clothing. I like it because it's cost effective and the end result is guaranteed to be one of a kind. Unique, cheap and quirky chic. I like to look different with my own style. Not sure what style I'd call it, but I'm happy with it. 😊
TY, your tutorial was great, I have looked for a lot of Sashiko bora but to only find them sewing from scratch, this is exactly what I wanted bc I have a plain Kimono jacket I want to use, but my question is do I have to really take it apart to do this, just a newbie here, again thanks for all your hard work to show, blessings 🙏
Looks great to me. I would make the sleeves longer. Do you think if the work was done on the jacket, w/out aking it apart, look just as nice? I'm just trying to avoid all.that work. 😊

Yep you can if you’re hand sewing the patches! Just remember to sew the patches in accordingly on the rounded areas to avoided changing the fit
Love it 😊💙
