Excellent job showing the construction of the marina area to date along with the flooding that occurred.

This explains the water seen at night from VR camera (I live overseas so I tend to see live feed at night) Thanks for posting more awesome footage.

I have been watching Virtual Railfan at this site. They have a camera at the Kingley Inn. The camera can turn completely around. No I do not have the control to do that but VR does it even zooms in and out. Not only is the river very high but the current is faster. (Left to right) but I have seen large logs even whole trees floating down river. With the high water level I have seen lately less boat traffic going up or down river. Not sure if has to do with the locks or the faster current. Most of the time the current is 1-1.5 miles per hour. Now it looks like more than 3 miles per hour. Could be an issue with the tow boats fighting the current and could have issues of control. But I am guessing. What I learned recently is further down stream the other rivers are not as high so the risk of flooding down stream is less. Steven Sipes

Compared to past floods, it actually looks pretty good. Raising the Santa Fe depot and parking lot also probably helped.

Correct Ken. We have seen much worse.

@@floridaofiowaaerialsandpho1440 I was the State of Iowa counterpart to FEMA in Fort Madison for the 20028 flood.

Did the Mississippi reach flood stage? I occasionally watch the VR camera and wondered about this.

i know little of present day civilian drone capabilities. but that seems like great range.

Most prosumer drones have much greater range than is actually needed for the intended job. Stronger signal equates to better reliability though. Most of my videos, you can usually find me somewhere in the middle of the flight path 😊Thanks for watching.
