why didn't jim and cindy yell at steve for talking brandon into driving drunk but jim yells at dylan all the time / jim and cindy didn't yell at steve and kelly for all the times they hurt brandon and brenda
Jim had more first hand knowledge of Dylan (than he did of Steve), because Dylan was dating Brenda. Jim thought bad things about Dylan's father and took it out on Dylan. Also every father has to protect their daughter, a stronger need than protecting his son.
As a product of the late 80s & early 90s I can attest to the fact that such underage parties where the booze was flowing freely was the norm, largely accepted & tolerated. Times have changed drastically!
I tried this once, then someone stole stuff from my house. Changed my ways after that for life. Be careful the friends you make and watch who you let into your house.
3 things bother me about this episode. 1.) Donna drank at her party and drank here, but when she had her senior year champagne-fall it was "the 1st time she drank" (plus she hadn't eaten). 2.) At Mel & Jackie's wedding, he reminisced that the 1st time he danced with Kelly was at the Spring Fling but they're dancing in this scene. 3.) We all know that 90210 had "2 junior years" but if this is season 1 sophomore year, why are all the kids driving? I know sophomores are typically 15 and nowadays if you're born in August or after you can be 16 but this wasn't the case in 1990. K I'm done. As you were.
The first season they were supposed to be juniors so thats why kids are driving. Also things get retconned after the first season and assume the audience won't remember. Plus Kelly dancing with David was probably something she may have realistically not even remembered given how it happened.
I truly think the Mr and Mrs Walsh made this show they tied everything together all the relationships. Cool parents but went through a lot of challenges! 😊
4:05 gotta love they announce drunk driving using the Michel Meyers score from Halloween XD
😂 good catch
I believe that's The Exorcist
@@unsilentmajority1684 fuck, you are right , my horror movie cred !
@@PhilospherDjPsychologist24ha. It's cool. They all blend together
you mean exorcist
One irony is that Andrea would've wanted Brandon to kiss her. But not when he's drunk.
It doesn't count when someone is wearing beer googles.
Wtf were those two doing at the beginning of the clip though 😂😂😂

I don't remember Steve doing that. And even if he did, Jim and Cindy couldn't know without it being told.

Because Dylan was dating their daughter & Jim knew about Dylan’s father & rebellious spirit. Dad’s will instinctively protect their little girl
Because it was a teen drama television show and the writers didn't really care?
Brandon gets arrested for drunk driving and gets a slap on the wrist. Brenda dates Dylan and sneaks to Mexico and gets screamed at and punished.
she left the country. I forget why they said she couldn't go but they had a reason, because initially they said it was ok.
@@red2977 she was late for curfew.
I can easily compare Dylan and Brenda to Archie and Veronica from Riverdale.

Why what happened they don't do this anymore?

3:09 It Was At This Moment That Brandon Walsh Knew He's Drunk

@@Sephiroth766 Bro season 1 they were NOT juniors 😂😂😂😂 that would mean season 3 they would be college freshmen.
I was born in 1984 and I turned 16 my sophomore year

Ohhh The Exorcist score music is everything in this clip☺
This is a good example of reckless driving.
.....Speeding .....Passing a vehicle without caution ⚠️ .... . Turning without a signal.... Crashing into a truck 🛻......
Ironically Jason apparently did it in real life too. Pretty weird the series story didn't scare him from it.
Or wreckles dancing … David 🤣💜
Not reckless driving… drunk driving.
One of the first shows that hit on teen and parents topics.
First to say that this was a good show and very attractive........most in a funny way. ♥️🙏
What is the song playing at the Walsh house (Kelly and David) were dancing to it?
4:15 is this exorcist music??
It kinda sounds like Tubular Bells but a couple of notes are different and it is slower.
Can’t deal with Jim’s chest sweater
Yeah, like that’s the worst part of this scene. Lol
I wish Dylan and Brenda were endgame, but fate had other plans.
The good boy not being so good right now…nobody is perfect
The music is from Dr Dolittle 3
1:54 Cool hair duo, Brenda.
Awe Kelly dancing with her future brother
If the peach pit gazette found this out brandon would get ousted right to kitchen duty

Agreed. I'd say both Walsh parents were really underrated in this show. Especially the first season.
I never knew Brandon tried to get nookie from Andrea
He said he totaled Mondale. He didn’t. Lol.
No, he just wanted that Mustang.
"Poor Mr & Ms Walsh 🙏💕💕💔💔🇵🇪
Stand out episode
Kelly can’t dance
Brandon got arrested drunk driving
Can anyone tell me the song/artists playing in this scene?
The song is called "Ridin". Not sure who the artist is, but it's on the compilation album "Music from chicks' shows vol 2".
1:54 What is with Brenda's hair ....yikes!
1991.
That's not a 1991 haircut, that's a crime against humanity.
Yeah, she didn't even do anything that bad to her hair in Our House at 15.
Hardly drunk after only two beers.
I'm a lightweight myself unfortunately. I'm done after 1 for the month.
A Canadian getting obliterated on two pisswaters from St. Louis? OK
Something really to be proud of.
Buzzed driving is drunk driving pal
