Interesting that this clip has replaced the initial track that accompanied the montage of Brenda getting ready. The broadcast version used the song "Betty Boo - Doin' The Do (1990)." I know nothing about the song or the band, but it was such a weird track that it stuck in my mind all these years (plus, this was an episode that I saw a few times in rereuns). Pity that this show didn't make the effort to retain its original music, the way the 1980s Miami Vice did for its DVD release.

Neither was ever hot or cold. Brenda was his only deep connection to intimacy. Kelly also had unstable parents as well so her connection to him was surface level only. Not deep like Brenda’s was.

At first I was confused about attachment personality styles but once I realized there were only 4 of them I learned the behaviors associated with them and rewatched Beverly Hills 90210 I used to be upset that Brenda & Dylan didn’t end up together but now that I see more clearly I commend the writers for writing a more realistic outcome based on personality style’s. It’s pretty accurate as I am now reflecting on my past relationships as well as my friends and families and I’m realizing now that the only ones that last are the secure attachment personality styles.
