"alright here's what happened: Party consisting of a fighter bird person with 18 hp, wizard war forged with 15 hp, and me, the kobold rouge with 8 hp, all of us at lvl 1. Party starts combat with 5 or so people, one of which clearly the leader. I try to end things diplomatically, with no success. Bird misses most of there attacks, was forged does a little damage, even taking out one of the hostiles, but goes down to a shocking grasp later on due to weakness against lighting. Bird gets there tail handed to them throughout the entire fight and gets down to 1 hp exactly towards the end. Meanwhile im literally jumping from person to person getting guaranteed hits from the DM sense im standing on the persons shoulders, and one tapping the people because of the sneak attack rouge thing. after taking out everyone but the leader, the bird grabs the leader, flies as high as they can, and drops them instantly ending the fight. After a lengthy discussion over 'would chest compressions work on a war forged', we decided it would. I resesitated the war forged, gained the 'CHEST COMPRESSIONS, CHEST COMPRESSIONS CHEST COMPRESSIONS' annually, and we took a long rest. We later learned that the DM accidentally had the sorcerer casting at the 9th level instead of the third. It was everyone's (including the DMs) first game, and we all made it out alive so no one was really bothered. Best part is that I had intended on my character being a relatively side character with a few great stealth related moments, even telling the party before hand that I wouldn't be much help in a fight. All in all, 10/10 main character moment. would recommend." - Dr. S.W.
This happens almost everytime because my tiny cat rouge is busted at like level 2
