I need this... I walked in early from work on my wife having phone sex with a childhood friend and we split up.. We have a 3 year old son. My wife has told me she do want to be married but I'm believing God for our marriage! I'm holding on to faith in God!!

It's like this whole thing was a set up to reveal the loving heart of God. So powerful.
What a model for the Body of Christ to emulate! It is always convenient to take the easier way out but God's heroes don't run instead they stay to confront the situation with God's grace and in turn grow in the love of God and in character. This is what we need to show to the world that yes mistakes do happen nevertheless God's unconditional love still prevails and YES WE CAN FORGIVE, YES WE CAN RECONCILE YES WE CAN SAY NO TO DIVORCE and show God's love to those who have offended and hurt us

I experience this same situation 8 years ago but it was my husband ... I felt everything her husband was saying but God showed me his love towards me inspite of all my sins that I had ever commited. If I were in Bob's place, I'd never have accepted her back. I'd forgive her yet wouldn't take her back nomatter how much I loved her. If a wife cheats on her husband then she doesn't love him.That's the fact. If it happens once, it can be called a mistake. But when it happens for 3 weeks it's a habit that you're enjoying. I want to believe her sincerity but on paper she has everything to lose so ofcourse she has to do everything she can get him to forgive her. It was a highly imbalanced reconciliation to the point that I just question her sincerity. And If I was in his shoes I would want to believe it at all costs despite the true and possibly hidden motive.

It's different when God takes you through something so hard. Her heart is forever changed and thankful. She now sees herself through Jesus' eyes. Because of this she makes different choices.
