yeah i read up on Snowgrave and initially my plan was to eventually go ahead and do Chapter 1 "Genocide" and Chapter 2 "Genocide", but I can't bring myself to do that. Definitely worse than Undertale Genocide imo

Honestly, this is probably the least disturbing scenario of those in which everyone dies because of you. In Deltarune, not only are you in a world which you know and have been part of, not only do you know and have memories with the people in it, but you also manipulate an overwhelmingly sweet and innocent character to push her to do murder for you... including murder on her own friend she has known for a long time, ultimately breaking her psychologically. When seeing Undertale genocide, it's hard to imagine something worse than it simply because we are not used to such terrible things... but there are possibilities of evil, eerie and disturbing scenarios far worse than Undertale ever presented us with.

After the Spamton sweepstakes i'm more convinced that this doesn't contain Noelle's motif. We do hear that bit towards the end of part 1 but that's also in FindHer, which is assumably Dess' theme, as well as in girl next door. So I'm assuming that that's the Holiday family's motif. In girl next door Noelle also gets her own motif unique to it in the guitar/bass sound. So my guess is that either A: Dess played guitar and created a melody for Noelle that eventually became her theme, or B: Lost Girl is also Dess' theme, and plays when Noelle self reflects, where when she's talking alone she might be symbolically speaking to Dess as a way to cope.

Noelle radiates a certain innocence and safety that I cannot shake off my mind. As much as Snowgrave broke my heart, this character's personality will forever resonate with me, and I hope she receives the happy ending she deserves. :)
This hurts me now, I did the snowgrave route just for curiosity and...I feel really awful, It really hurted me, Undertale genocide route didn´t make me feel bad, it didn´t even make me cry! but the Snowgrave thing...It make me feel so bad for Kris and for Noelle, bad for Kris because I manipulated them to manipulate their childhood friend, Noelle.
yeah, its sad, because through the run you can learn that kris isnt commanding noelle, YOU are commanding kris's actions and what noelle does in battles too and sometimes even out of battles
Deltarune has more emotions (not that I'm saying undertale wasn't emotional) which means they worked hard and remember and rewrite their mistakes in the last game to make the next one more of a art of skills and of course i am not saying that undertale was a bad game but i am just saying that they learn to make better things and i gotta say they did better im happy that there are chances of success on people. Yeah, I mean, don't get me wrong, but I feel like Undertale has a lot of "filler" dialogue. Some scenes are just quirky little dialogues about the characters doing random things. In Deltarune however, most of the dialogue seems to be either for pushing the narrative, creating character development, or forging the bonds between the characters. Deltarune definitely plays more like a really good book.
Undertale was done mostly for fun, and he rushed to release the game because of the fans. Undertale has also lots of holes, and bugs that are there because of that. Even all the gaster stuff that remained as easter eggs was going to be a lot more complete, but he let all that way because of the rush. We have to be patient with Deltarune for it to be better.
Yeah they pretty much serve the purpose of being a replacement for susie and ralsei. Ice shock is a replacement for susie and heal prayer and ice mist is a replacement for ralsei

Toby's done an incredible job solidifying the vibe of his games. Even though they have different stories and such, you really feel the undertale vibes when playing deltarune and I like that a lot. Excited for chapter 2!

now that i think about it, it's very much possible that part 2 will make it into Deltarune in a later chapter. hope it does, because man this song sounds beautiful with both parts combined.
Seeing as the 2nd part has Susie's leitmotif in it, I think it's being saved for when Suselle becomes official or something. Definitely think we're going to see it in future chapters.

This would've been perfect when put into the scene where Susie enters Noelle's room then decides to have a little conversation before it switches to the ferris wheel scene.
Though, I feel like this will be reused in later chapters, along with the scrapped version of Girl Next Door.
