- Everyone loves a good shuffle. Every shuffle is the purdie or the Rosanna shuffle . Well during this show with Eros Ramazzotti I have the opportunity of playing a song called Stella Gamella and the shuffle groove originally played by Vinnie Coliauta . Hope you enjoy. I love the double ghost on the 2nd and the 3rd triplet together with the first high hat stroke
The bass line is also mind blowing, he keeps it simple but effective as hell just like Eric, great performance.

Perfect demonstration of why you need to get the players who can do it right. There are loads of drummers who could technically play this, including myself. Lots of us have the chops, but you cant teach or learn how to express it just right. that comes from the heart. Everyone puts their flavor on, and Erics is perfect for this.
Extremely tasteful...the undeniable groove, the simple one tom fills to the nasty spot on Eric fills, to that fill with the splash cymbal ....Eric, you're a bonafide beast!!!!

That is the tightest, hardest, pocket ive ever heard. A pocket of solid iron. He didn't need to do any fills because his pocket sounds so much better than all his chops and boy, we know how amazing he is at that. If i had a pocket like his, i would be proud just to drum on a two piece, drum kit, a hi hat and without any cymbals just knowing that my pocket is above advanced. That was Addictive for the ears. His 2&4 i felt every hit deep into my soul. Soul food. Incredible!!!!

WOW! Super great pump working here! I started watching this video foretasting the Vinnie Colaiuta's solo at the end of the original song... but he started with it at the beginning! I jumped from my chair immediately. So musical groove and fills. I didn't know he played live with Eros Ramazzotti.
