    We can get spicy canned tuna in the U.K. too, by a well known fish brand called "John West", they do chilli & garlic, chipotle or jalapeño & they are soooo nice, especially on rye crackers.

    Thanks Yong Won for sending such yummy looking Korean treats and TabiEats for doing a video on them!
    I love getting snacks from the little Korean grocery stores around Sydney and have some more things to try to find now 😊.
    I'm most keen to find a box of hotteok mix, as fresh hotteok isn't something you can find in Sydney & I havn't had a chance to visit South Korea yet!

    The waffle ones are delicious. My husband thought the mochi cookie had an odd flavor when we tried them a few months ago. Texture was nice, but it as a little too artificial tasting.

    Welcome home brothers! I can’t wait to watch more of your NYC videos!! What a fun Korean snack haul! I absolutely love shopping at our local H-Mart for Korean foods and snacks. Brother, you are so right about hot rice and Korean seaweed! Soooooo yum! I am so going to look for that Korean chicken snack! Oh, and that spicy tuna! Wow! Gosh everything looked so good! Awesome video brothers!! Thank you for sharing!
    Brother, could I please ask your subscribers for something? If you would, please keep Southern California in your thoughts and prayers...... We have 5 out of control wildfires going on right now. As of 6 or so hours ago, there was a “mandatory evacuation,” and Karen-who is a close friend of Shinichi and Satoshi, and can be seen in a few of their videos-has had to evacuate her home. My husbands’ co-worker and his wife have lost their beautiful home and their horse ranch/training business. It’s absolutely devastating for these folks out here! 😢

      Deon: I left Orange County in 2002 for Colorado. I am still out here. The altitude takes time to get used to, if you never been here before. You need to drink lots of water to fight off altitude effects. Cooking out here is different, if you do a fair bit of it. I live at 7000 ft. (2.1 KM) elevation. Water boils at 200F instead of 212F (takes longer to hard boil an egg); baking and pancakes require recipe changes (such as extra flour for cookies and pancakes).

      @deonragsdale7678 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dan B. Were do you live? I'm moving to Greenly I think that is how it's spelled but anyway I'm a trained chef and love cook I'm helping out with the cooking and baking for all of us who are out of our house or if like me burnd to the ground it's crazy everywhere you look it is red, smokey, black gray it's spooky at night to see the flames and glowing ember's!💀👻 My cousin lost a multi-million dollar home and prizes race 🏇 horses! It is like if it's the end of the world! But anyway enough of that! So is it snowing up there really good? I'm so used to California weather I don't know if i can hang! When I first moved to this country it took me a bit to get used but now that I'm used to it I don't want to go to the snow!!😵😱😨 So are you close to were I'm moving to?

    • @danbee998
      @danbee998 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Deon Ragsdale Sorry to reply so late. I live in the southeast corner of the state, Colorado Springs. You are moving to Greely (home to the U. of Northern Colorado). It's in the northeast corner of the state (2-2.5 hour drive away from where I am). I went to culinary school in Colorado Springs. One of the pastry chefs moved out here, from South Carolina, to teach. She said it took her 6 months to convert all of her recipes to make them work out here. IF you will, professionally, sell your own recipes, take some time to convert them to altitude. Water boils 1C less (from 100C, boiling at sea level) for every 1,000 feet in elevation. This will make boiling, poaching, and so forth, take longer. Greely is 4658 feet in altitude. At 7000, it takes 12-13 minutes to hard boil an egg proper; 10 at sea level.
      Sorry to hear all the tragedy. I remember we had terrible arson fires when I was in high school out there (before 92); ash was raining down in the middle of Orange County from several counties away. This winter, at least in Colorado Springs, no snow has stuck yet. We usually get snow to stick around by Halloween. Maybe it is global warming.
      Buy long john pants; you will need those when it gets really bad. I tend to put those on when the temp maxes out in the low 30s or colder. Mid-30s is tolerable (without windchill). You will need sweatshirts, fleece pullovers, jackets, warm and light gloves, hiking boots (for ice and snow), sneakers, and so forth. I recommend Tred Safe shoes (from kitchen work) from Walmart if you need to dress nice and walk in the ice or snow. THey help, a little, to prevent slipping. Get a pair of YakTrax (shoe clip-ons) for really bad ice.
      Get yourself a good ice scraper (for your windows), for inside your car, and keep it there at all times of the year. It can snow into April where I am. My older neighbor told me it once snowed in July, MANY years ago. We get our first snows, usually, late Sept. to mid-October, but these melt.
      A lot of people from Michigan and Louisiana have relocated out here. Michigan's debt and Hurricane Katrina are a result of those realities. Many Californians moved out here as well. As a result, people are INSANE driving on the I-25 (the main interstate up and down the eastern half of the state). Violent crimes, in Colorado Springs, have gone up many times over. Maybe the legal marijuana industry brought some unsavory types too.
      Colorado has a brand new law in effect; one that will earn you a felony if you disobey it. It was made a felony just recently. Read the entry for Colorado, here: drivinglaws.aaa.com/tag/move-over-law/

    You gotta watch out for soju. Some of them will come up and knock you on your a$$ when you least expect it. The really good ones are lightly flavored and are easy to hide under juices and sodas... and you may forget you’re drinking alcohol. (I’ve been to Korea. It was awesome, and the mountain we lived by in Uijeongbu was breathtaking. I’d post pics if I could.)

    • @aine5506

      Also, if you ever go to Korea, you MUST try the bulgogi burger at McDonalds. It was delicious. Lotte World was pretty cool, as was Myeongdong, and the 63 building too. I didn’t get to go to Namsan... 😢 And also, try Milkis. It’s a sort of yogurt soda, it tastes kinda like sprite with a sweet yogurt. Ugh. I’m gonna have to go get Korean tomorrow and break into my Milkis stash lol.
      I’ll stop spamming you guys now lol.

      Yeah...no. Korean culture was actively destroyed by the Japanese occupation, which began significantly before WWII. Pre-occupation culture was much closer to that of China, but even then their are vast differences.

    Love me some soju. I used to go drinking in K-Town back in the day and you could order these massive bowls of lemon or melon flavored soju with straws. So there would be five of us around this giant bowl trying to drink as much as possible with the straws.
    Soju is dangerous cause that stuff will hit you all at once. You're fine one minute and literally floored the next.

    And body modifier since 1993 I had a shop in Santa Barbara for a good few years but I got sick and was In hospital for almost over 8months and my tattoo artist was doing crack he was selling my tools, jewelry and I had a few thousand just in gold and precious stone Jewellery not to mention my tools tables Hospital exam table Etc... When I think about it it just baffles me how someone can do that to you I understand addiction is addiction but when you are stealing from your employer and others you have a problem I had to file because I could not make the money that he put me in debt for but I have made it through that and I'm slowly but surely getting things together and Hope that I can either do open another shop that would be the best thing that I've done again I love it! Don't get me wrong I love to cook they are both a passion for me and I love it but for some reason body modification just draws me in! Do you have any ink or any type of body piercings and or any body modification? I'm pretty mellow on what I have,but I did in 93and in the 80's I was pretty crazy looking I guess!!??! But everywhere you look nowadays everybody has some type of ink or body modification and it kind of bums me out because all of the flack I got on the 80's and 90's for how I looked and now it's nothing!! I feel I've earned my stripes for beenig "Different" now no body even blinks an eye if a hipster has alot of ink!! hahahaha. How the times are Changing you blink and boom it's gone!! And sorry this was to be part of the email, text I sent you on accident,..😄😊
