With an extensive test drive just a few days back........I sincerely accept that the new Tata Safari definitely has improved a lot in the areas of noise, vibration and harshness moreover the overall refinement of smoothness off the engine at Decent speeds has been really appreciable and satisfactory
No RWD , no 4WD , doesn't like to be revved .... This can't be SUV .... I don't think it's doing justice to the Safari legacy..... Of course, look wise awesome
#TataMotors has been very stubborn & not willing to rectify the flaws that were found & reported in the Harrier ever since it's launch in 2019. These well known & critical flaws are left unaddressed & STILL REMAIN in the 2023 facelift. How pathetic is this !! (1) Left knee fouling with the centre console is still unresolved (2) Missing proper dead pedal (3) Driver arm rest has always remained too far & hence useless. (4) Second row center passenger doesn't get headrest (5) The engin is very vocal & not refined/quiet. MG Hector & Jeep Compass which use the same engin are much refined & quiet !! Why ? . .. & now the 2023 Harrier & Safari facelift still carries over the above niggles & comes with a half cooked ADAS. .. come on TATA where's the "Pedigree". Neither the showroom experience nor the service centre experience make the Harrier ever feel like a premium car experience & hence the price tag it holds is not justified. Further more the showroom & service centre experience only make things even worse. Very clearly the showroom as well as service centre personal are not trained nor have the skill to sell or service a premium car. Maybe TATA Motors should consider having exclusive showrooms for Harrier & Safari lineups. Just as Maruti have NEXA showrooms for their premium car lineup.
Dear bro you rightly pointed out in this video review that the autonomous emergency braking is not working at all........While, all other ADAS features are working up to the mark and as expected I to had an extensive test drive of the Tata Safari accomplished plus variant on Saturday that is 21st October and was really disappointed by only one feature not working that is autonomous emergency braking which I tried on the highway........even in the suburban areas and the SUV never stopped on its own......
Hi there, I watched your videos on TH-cam and think you might be able to help me with some questions. I’m considering the Safari, XUV700, and Scorpio N for my needs. I have a large family of seven, and I plan to travel across India-not to extreme locations like deserts, but to places like Ladakh, Spiti, and Manali where there might be snow and black ice. I’m wondering if the Safari will be suitable for these conditions or if I should opt for the XUV700 with all-wheel drive or the Scorpio N with 4x4. I’m leaning towards the Safari due to its impressive road presence and comfort, but the XUV700 is appealing for its performance. However, I’m also concerned about the reliability of Tata cars. Do you think the Safari is reliable? If you were choosing a new car, would you go for the Safari or a Mahindra model?
All well and good but tata needs to start working on a hybrid engine. Pretty sure the likes of Toyota, VW and Jeep are gonna have hybrid powertrains in their next iterations of high end SUVs to compensate for that absence of diesel mileage in future cars
Only the power and the metal that's used would last, all the gizmos, internal upholstery, and even the GREAT TATA RUST haunts this vehicle as ever😂😂😂, nice review ALBEIT🙌
Without a refined engine, it’s never going to be a “luxury” car. Wish it was a 2.0 petrol here. Perhaps the next generation will be a nice electric engine with good range as well.
After so many upgrades in safari series. It's surprisingly still not close perfect. White seat covers in a Sports Utility Vehicle is just senseless. Glossy touch panels hard to use are also unsafe and scratch prone. I also wouldn't like to scratch my phone on that wireless charger. Sunroof being India's big demand is just useless again. Paddle shifters also don't seem to work well. Will have to wait for another upgrade.
2:09 Bumper in a car is theoretically there to prevent contact between an obstruction and the car body or to cushion the shock of collision between vehicles. But nowadays the tail lamp or body of the car is projecting more. Then what's the use of a Bumper? 😅
After launching so many Fuel Types and Drive trains M&M could not deliver so the customers cancelled their bookings.. Instead TATA has launched their models with one Drive train ( 4x2 ) and one Fuel Type (Diesel) and will deliver the cars fast. Great IDEA of curse.
Dear sir mera budget 10lakh ka hai mera drive 250km per/day highway per hai koun gadi sahi rahe gi mere liye Petrol/Diesel/Cng/Electric Sir koun c gadi lu please suggest kijiy?
Tata, the absence of physical buttons is a deal-breaker for me. While I was excited about considering the Harrier or a Safari, I prioritize safety and convenience. Despite Tata's excellent crash ratings, I have 15 years of driving experience in basic cars like the 800 and Alto, which lacked safety features. This has made me a cautious driver. For the past five years, I've enjoyed the security of advanced safety features, so fumbling with non-physical controls and diverting my attention from the road doesn't make sense. I'll have to pass on these vehicles.
That means the padal shifter is mainly to activate sports mode, coz u would shift down when you need power and the vehicle would knew that u need more power, btw tata comeon focus on 4x4 I thought atleast this upgrade would bring a 4x4 with diff locks
Tata has to do a serious face lift to its quality of service. No matter how trendy and tech loaded cars it's brings, it falls into a deep gutter in terms of service. As a sad tata user, think of service before you buy a Tata. It is a pain.
Itz so stupid that they went for piano black knowing that it will become worn out and bad very soon. Also they didn't fix the issue of left knee hitting the bottom side of dashboard
for connivence i might buy the automatic but mostly i see people driving in the cities for convenience but the manual is better and good responses than the automatic since mostly i would drive for long distances and manual gives better milage than the automatic

TATA making us all proud. This is top class
Ya in service station 😂
The paint quality is more premium .... I think they'll dominate with no options and with the mahindras now being too common
Now...that's more like it... Tata Safari is going to crush its competition like a ruthless beast
i really love the look of safari 😍
All the new tata models are great but what's with the touch panel based controls?? They are evolving backwards in this
Tata is changing the Indian automotive landscape!
Proud owner of storme and new safari ❤ !!
Tata did a great job😍🔥🔥
Hybrid version of safari will be a great move considering the current norms on the diesel engines.
No RWD , no 4WD , doesn't like to be revved .... This can't be SUV .... I don't think it's doing justice to the Safari legacy..... Of course, look wise awesome
It’s hard to believe this is the same company which designed ‘Indica’. So many WoWs ❤
0:05 nice shot
Great job 🤗 When is Autocar starting 4K video uploads? Really need them now 😊

Amazing hills and skyline of Pune. Loved the video. Safari is king
Need a comparison with xuv 700 to help understand how the new features compare
Absolutely hate the steering and the touch climate controls 😔

How is throw and efficacy of LED light in real conditions?
Hey autocar, any indication when Hyundai will release new Santa Fe in India?
Tata has done a great job of sending even more Safaris to Service Centre...
steals my heart everytime i see it... love the new safari!
I want the supple ride which you said in the video this isn't....So which Car has the best suspension comfort, upto 20-25 lac.
¿????????????¿‽
Can you please compare this with the Scorpio-N?
Tata is way ahead from all cars manufacturers ❤❤
Just bought safari last month it feels like I am driving 1cr car , the way people give reaction to my car in roads❤❤
As the boot space is too less with all seats up Tata should give a well designed roof top carrier which should camouflage with design
Waiting for off-road test video of all suvs, have read it and waiting for the video to see grand vitara awd. When are you uploading it ?
Love or hate the usage of the badge Safari, but you can't ignore the sheer road presence and awesome look of this car
All well and good but tata needs to start working on a hybrid engine. Pretty sure the likes of Toyota, VW and Jeep are gonna have hybrid powertrains in their next iterations of high end SUVs to compensate for that absence of diesel mileage in future cars
Safrai now looks and rival any premium suv and comparable to any contemporary western design cars ❤❤❤
7:55 has anyone noticed the uneven finish of the plastic housing of the USB ports, surely Tata 😂
Only the power and the metal that's used would last, all the gizmos, internal upholstery, and even the GREAT TATA RUST haunts this vehicle as ever😂😂😂, nice review ALBEIT🙌
From the days of the Indica Tata has come a Looong way.
This Safari wouldn't be out of place.anywhere in the world.
Tata fanboys assemble ❤
Cringe
😂😂😂
In the Service centre ❤
Mongrels.

As the design team TATA+JLR just shown their talent upon what next gen is like

I was referring to the rear bumper
full touch unit in the center is a dropper for me..

Electrical and electronic issue always present in Tata cars and most important is engine which is not refine like korean, japanese cars
Great stuff tata ❤ design looks more like land rover 🫶🏽🫶🏽
Any update about tata hexa
Dear sir mera budget 10lakh ka hai mera drive 250km per/day highway per hai koun gadi sahi rahe gi mere liye Petrol/Diesel/Cng/Electric Sir koun c gadi lu please suggest kijiy?
Ertiga CNG or Punch CNG or Exter CNG
Honda Amaze automatic
The blank space on the steering wheel could have been managed better.
Any plans for Safari to come with the hybrid model?
High key wanna buy this.... ❤

Hmm another way of saying you don't have enough money 💰😅
No body cares 😂
Was waiting for this 😊
This time 19 inch alloys come in tip model.
Rest everything same, kindly make a video on effect of 17,18 or 19 inch wheels on a car.
Does it have uv cut glass
Thanks for the candid review. Lovely to see someone give a balanced take!!!
All okay but how about the Quality and reliability of the features added and also the after sales service is so poor 😢
Hope they have done something for ergonomics..
Love Tata for it's amazing safety cars
Simple question. Why Tata is not able to give Petrol engines?
You want it to cost more
That means the padal shifter is mainly to activate sports mode, coz u would shift down when you need power and the vehicle would knew that u need more power, btw tata comeon focus on 4x4 I thought atleast this upgrade would bring a 4x4 with diff locks
4x4 or AWD??
Now tata needs to give its attention to quality. Looks have been elevated quite a bit.
it is 4×4 or front wheel drive, any 4×4 variant ?
Everything is so good. But please @tata bring physical buttons back. It’s a lot of distraction while driving
Only thing remaining is for Tata to gets its act together in customer service and quality control.
Tata must change their premium cars logo . Like what Mahendra did
Will it have all wheel drive (4WD) ???
Tata has to do a serious face lift to its quality of service. No matter how trendy and tech loaded cars it's brings, it falls into a deep gutter in terms of service. As a sad tata user, think of service before you buy a Tata. It is a pain.
How is this different from Harrier. Seems almost close
Congrats safari and harrier for 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from GNCAP
Itz so stupid that they went for piano black knowing that it will become worn out and bad very soon. Also they didn't fix the issue of left knee hitting the bottom side of dashboard
Why does the Safari always makes more noise and vibrates while reversing, even on flat surface?
Best Product right now ❤❤❤
Scorpio S10 classic runs smoother than Tata Safari Diesel
Awesome review from Autocar as always 🎉🎉
And update and refinement in the engine was needed more than these features.
Wow ! interior is like Range Rover
Safest, coolest and most premium
Bhai safari pe Dil AA Gaya
The Tribal Chief ☝🏻
We would love to see old safari storm and Hexa come back
Safari the king ❤
Still love the dicor variant of the Safari. That looked like a proper Indian suv.
Tata should sell these products in all Right hand drive markets
Developed one design, put in all cars😂
For me, Safari still is not long enough for the last row people to sit comfortably!
È possibile importarla in Italia?
TATA Safari Facelift model instrumental cluster and infotainment system full video.
Is it 4x4 or AWD
If this one available in Petrol variant...ill book onspot ...
No AWD or 4X4 😢
that fake wood looks amazing
The old design has that presence known on the road , sadly this new design doesn't compliment the legend
Wish they improved the engine refinement
i must say, this guy is really sharp and dominant. keeps the focus on himself as we as the car. nice wayferers too.
Tata Safari pros and CONS:
1. Absolutely brilliant build quality , second to none
2. Brilliant ride , handling and comfort
CONS:
1. Disastrous Reliability
2. Disastrous After Sales Service
3. Disastrous Mileage
4. Disastrous Paint Quality
5. Exceptionally Highest Part replacement cost with service cost
Will facelift gets red dark
I refuse to accept it as a true safari until its gets 4x4 until then its a Harrier with Back Hump😅
Always XUV700❤❤
for connivence i might buy the automatic but mostly i see people driving in the cities for convenience but the manual is better and good responses than the automatic since mostly i would drive for long distances and manual gives better milage than the automatic
