But when they saw all the Ukrainian's fleeing with their pets in their arms it became real to them and they began to feel for the Ukrainian's. Tanya, I want to come from the US and my Fiancé lives in Odessa, she and I shall work with locals shelters on programs to find homes for them as well as help orphans and a few others as I start a non-profit to help and this will be this year. I have worked with rescues before. She and I rescued many animals. Thank you for letting us see this.

Well, now we know angels come from Ukraine. Super angel Tanya meets another angel caring for the animal victims of the war. Kidding aside (well, not really kidding actually), I have been watching interactions with Ukrainians for a while all over the place and it is overwhelming how heart felt and caring and ultra aware most are. It must be part of the culture of Ukraine, which is no surprise, we Slavs are born of heart it is what we decide afterwards that counts. We often tend to forget that humans are not the only ones suffering from a senseless war. Good to see you are taking care of the animals as good as possible.

Where I live in California, we have a huge problem with dogs and cats who have no home and even with government and private support, our shelters are overburdened as well. The shelter is a credit to them.. with so many dogs they must need many volunteers to walk the dogs for a change from their pens. I hope they have those people coming.. because the staff have so much other work just caring for the animals 🙏.🥰

I just removed a nesting box from my aviary. I bought 2 java sparrows last year. I fed them the very best food. I now have 8 of these after 2 nests. The yellow canaries i have in a special aviary shed . Has 5 junior yellow young. And there are 5 more eggs due to hatch today. Fertile i crushed Cuttle fish bone and mixed it with eggs. People ask do you sell them. No i give them a wonderful life. They also listen to bird singing music. There is also nest boxes in trees i have for the wild birds. And a drinking fountain.

I tell you what, this is how we generated adoptions in the US Arrange schools to have tours with young children. Once the kids fall in love with the pets, they will drag mom and dad back to the animal shelter! They 👍

I enjoy animals. And was looking at vidios of birds and fish. Your vidio surfaced. The dogs are so friendly and are much better presentable than the ones in my state. When the war first started the dogs ran from the explosions. Becoming strays. Relying on people to feed them. Its a big decision to own one. And that would be the likely way . Our cat died 2 years ago. And was costing over $2000 a year with medication and food. But had a purfect 🐱 pur , pur, life. Living to 18 years of age.

My mother owned a Kennel . And bred Silky Terriers. One dog was sent hundreds of kilometers away to another town. The person returned the show dog 5 years later. Opening the pet pack , carton from the plane trip . The dog screamed and screamed with delite. It was a wonderful and memorable renuion. This dog had spent 2 years with us . Returning after 5 years . Was a fantastic experience. Never ever again would this experience be copied. 🐕
Its was a cold day in 2022. As i passed by the Aviary. There was a bird standing close to another. A cold day of 5 deg. One bird appeared to be helping the other. And the other appeared sick. Breathing into the feathers of the chest of the fit bird. Imagination i thought. And it continued for 30 min. Standing in the sun on a shelf. I took the bird . Which appeared to probably not last the rest of the day. And inside my house with heat pump going at 18 deg. The bird recovered and lived another 8 months to be 9 years of age. ❤ 🐦

I’m surprised that shelters like that don’t use social media more. Nothing gets more clicks, subscribers, likes or comments than videos about saving animals. The people of the internet find the most horrible events to a human to be funny and a joke, but if an animal is involved, it’s totally different. They all love animals. Shelters could probably fund themselves with donations just from posting stories to you tube and Tik tok about saving animals. They were asking a year ago for people to adopt them. Those dogs look very good. In Australia where i am they are all sheep dogs type. or Bull terrier. People fled Ukraine at the beginning of the war. Dogs were mis placed. In the East where the war was intense. Russians killed some and ate them. Not enough food supplied by Russia. I heard a Russian translation on vidio. Saying they killed and ate Dog. The racoon got a smack across the face for biting his captor.

Bad enough they target hospitals, schools and residences, but if they target a rescue shelter this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, they are a hateful leadership.

I saw many videos earlier on in the war, brave organizations going to villages and the front bringing food for the dogs and cats left behind a d being cared for by the military or a neighbour who stays... And they filled their vans with strays to take to safer areas to shelters... It was heartbreaking there were so many.. all thanks to Putin destroying people's and animals lives..

People fled Ukraine at the beginning of the war. Dogs were mis placed. In the East where the war was intense. Russians killed some and ate them. Not enough food supplied by Russia. I heard a Russian translation on vidio. Saying they killed and ate Dog. The racoon got a smack across the face for biting his captor.

Tanya is there a compound for stray husbands cheating on their wives or girlfriends ha, ha the saddest thing animals are victims in this war . Zelensky should set up a Lottery fund to help stray animals, animals need feeding and vets are not cheap.

The invading Russian Army was expected to find much of its own food. I heard a translated tape. The soldier said he hated the war. And couldnt get food . They shot and ate dog.
Bad enough they target hospitals, schools and residences, but if they target a rescue shelter this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, they are a hateful leadership.

I saw many videos earlier on in the war, brave organizations going to villages and the front bringing food for the dogs and cats left behind a d being cared for by the military or a neighbour who stays... And they filled their vans with strays to take to safer areas to shelters... It was heartbreaking there were so many.. all thanks to Putin destroying people's and animals lives..
