    And I was just searching for a professional who could give me pointers on organizing my new/old toolbox! Very impressive! I'm just trying to rebuild an old 56 Chevy with some basic tools, this was like tool porno! ;) Great job!

    I’ve had a 6S box since 1998. Best tool box I’ve ever purchased and I’ve owned them all in 30 years. I’m out of room but my career is coming to a close so I’m not going into debt for more toolboxes at this point.

    *With those tall drawers on the top chest, it would be cool if the bottom chest had a "step drawer". Literally a thin drawer that pulls out and is designed for you to step up and, gives you a 3 or 4 foot platform to stand on. Then you could reach the very top of your box too.*

      Fitted tool boxes are so much better for your life.
      You need to tell people you’re not going to do every job.
      Your life is too short for that.
      I bet you don’t enjoy pulling a 40 kilogram weight drawer.
      So, you’re pulling the weight of 40 kilograms just to get something that weighs 5 ounces.

    My first 6s box was from 2009 double bank 56 inch long 25 deep ran out of room in bought a side box because matco didn’t make a top box for it anymore in that depth and I just traded it in on a 87 inch triple bank 6s I think 31 deep but it’s a bad ass box

    • @faerieSAALE
      @faerieSAALE 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I KEEP A GUN in my art supply toolbox - a 32 cal handgun wrapped in a hand wipe. WHY? Because the value of the whole box and its contents is about $5,000! I also have a box just for expensive paintbrushes - that's worth $10,000. Some of the brushes individually were $250 - $400 - etc. The box is full of top-quality brushes. A box chocked full oils and acrylics and gouache paints could buy a new car. That's why I keep a small handgun handy.

    • @GGarduchi
      @GGarduchi 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just thought the whole gun thing was kind of amateurish, that’s why I keep LMT AR15 and a Remington 870 in my one side locker. If SHTF, a 380 isn’t the answer. True story, I don’t make crap like that up.
