Great video. I sail a Compac 19 out of Oriental and dock pretty much the same way. Slow and easy as I can. TIP: Always wear shoes when jumping onto a dock. Once I got a very large and deep splinter while doing that. Keep the vids coming. As for the fog insode the GoPro, you should have received a small dry pack" with it. Place it inside the case and it will prevent the fog up. Those small silica packs that come with everything also work. If they get a lot use, you can dry them out in the oven at 200* for 30 minutes.
Thanks for sharing your trip. I’m looking at launching my Compac 16 in the Oriental area this fall and sail/motor down Adams creek and out to Cape Lookout. I like your no nonsense narrative and the comments are on the money about single handing a boat that size. I have a Islander 28 and feel the same, if the conditions are not right for docking I will hold off until I can summons help. Thanks again.

Great meeting you in Oriental. Looking forward to new episodes of your new adventures.
Hi! Just found your channel. Love your boat! What is she?
Do you offer lessons?
If you live nearby to Coastal NC would be great to have someone aboard for a sail.
@@sailingcarolina8654 My mom and I have been looking to learn for awhile. What would we need to do to make this happen?
