Thanks for your videos. I am learning a lot about the Neuse River area. I am slowly refitting a Tartan 34C in dry storage in Oriental. It is so nice to have your inspiration.
Thanks for the video. We purchased a Seidlemann 295 and I'll be sailing home from Virginia to Oriental. I'll try to video some of the trip, but I'm no good at editing so maybe I can do video with pics?
I've watched all your videos and appreciate you taking us along on your sailing trips. Maybe I missed it, but what kind of boat...and length...do you sail?
Nice boat! What size dinghy are you carrying aboard? Do you have a foot pump? Do you inflate it in the cock pit or up near the mast and lower it? A video of that operation would be nice. I just picked up a 10’ inflatable and that is the heaviest #55’s! Then again I’m 65 years old. Looks like I will carry it in the same location in its bag also. I’m waiting for cooler wx to work it out. I enjoy your videos as they help me in voyage planning for two future trips in the area. First one will be with my trailer sailer, a Compac 16 and a big trip in my Islander 28 from the mid Chesapeake Bay down to at least Beaufort. I’m hoping to make it down to Dry Tortuga. My Islander 28 is in a land locked lake in South Carolina, so transporting is going to be my biggest challenge. Have a save voyage!
Hi and thank you! I have a foot pump and a small electic air pump, The kind used with those blow up mattresses. Yes I do it in the cockpit it's quite a mess, I have thought about rigging lines to the boom. Those are great boats you mentioned, I hope you film it as well! I will try to capture the dinghy launch next time. Cheers!
Great video.. Questions. Assume you have chart 90 in some form or another. How conscious are you of staying in the white channel shown on chart 90? Are you sailing a specific compass course shown on the chart or is it more "stay well off the shorelines and you'll be okay"?
I really like your videos. Using them to plan my first cruises.

Hi and thank you! It’s a Pacific Seacraft Dana, -28 LOA and 24 ft hull.
