@@theresa94010 Oh, you have not heard? Just last week the Carnegie Hall announced they are cancelling all performances through Jan 6 2021. Yes, due to the pandemic. And yes, deeply disappointing, esp. to Nobu himself, I think.
I so enjoy his, Nobuyuki's style so much I have to listen to it over and over. He sure knows how to elicit all those emotions from his music. That was superbly done. I wish he would do more compositions of his own. He has such talent at composing that moves the very soul. His Elegy could not be surpassed.
He played a so touching tune here,which is his original one,life still goes on... I watched his playing here on youtube.That's so beautiful.It still makes many people moved.

I remember Vladimir Horowitz wife explaining that when she listened to her husband play, she never sat in the same room because the charisma a performer generates can sway you from being a discerning listener. So I never watch Nobu when I'm listening to a performance on youtube, but even without the visual his playing always touches my heart in such a powerful way!

He was a last-minute substitute for eminent pianist Murray Perahia and took some swipes from certain journalists for it. But the Carnegie Hall was packed on May 10 2019 and the bravos and standing ovations for Nobuyuki Tsujii were, as Nobu's management team put it, like nothing we had experienced. God took away his sight ......BUT. Instead God. gave him this extraordinary. Musical Talent .....Just watching him play this very difficult piece by Liszt , one is amazed by his superb technique and musicality .

辻井さんの奏でる音は、どうして、こんなにも清らかなんだろう？ まるで天使が鍵盤の上で舞っているようだ。。天使が羽根で鍵盤を撫でているようだ。。聴いていると、胸が幸せで一杯になって涙があふれてくる。
この動画を見て、昨年CDを購入。聴くだけでは足りずDVDも購入し、会場にいるつもりで観賞しています。カーネギーホールの熱狂が伝わってくるようです！演奏曲目の中では、リストの「リゴレットパラフレーズ」が一番好きで、圧巻の演奏ですね❤️
見に行きました～ 大ホールが満席でした 私の座席の周りは日本人以外の方ばかりでした アンコール5回応じて下さって、裾をちらっと時計を見るようなしぐさをされて会場が温かい笑い声に満ちて終わりました 意外とユーモアもお持ちで、ニューヨーカーのハートを掴んでいらっしゃいましたよ～

辻井さんのこの演奏を聴いて初めてこの曲を知り、だい、だい、大好きになりました。それまでリストって超絶技巧のイメージしかなかったんですが、なんてドラマティックな曲を作る人なのかと辻井さんのリストを聴いて知ることができ、嬉しいです。これを生で聞けた人達がほんと羨ましい！

リストのため息｡好きでした。今はあまり弾きませんが心にモヤモヤがあるとき､感情移入をしやすくてどっぷり浸かっていましたよ。まだ満足のいく････ｰまだなんて言うと、今は満足しているみたいだけどとんでもない！のです。ノブユキさんの演奏を聴いたり多くのピアニストの演奏を聞いて触発されて、続けてこれたんですよ。因みに前はB.ミケランジェリとか、グレン･グールドとか､そう言う所謂個性派が好きでしたね。今は、辻井さんはもちろん、舘野泉さんフジコさんら、こころにしみる演奏家に惹かれます。音楽って楽しいし、心を豊かにしてくれますから、少しでも続けてこれて良かったと思っています。

このリゴレットはラフマ2、それにラカンパネラなどと同様、毎日聴いて感動しています。
耳から学ぶのは楽譜から学ぶのと違って、作曲者(今回はリスト)から直接教えてもらつているようなもので、ほかのピアニストとは一味も二味も違いますね。
感動に酔ってしまって、あっという間に半日、いや1日が過ぎ去っていきます。

有名なピアニストは世界にはごまんといます、皆さんそれぞれ特徴のある奏法で弾かれていると思います、
辻井さんは若くまだまだと思いますが、辻井さんの曲を聴くと何故か胸が心臓がキュウとなります、また
瞼を濡らす時があります何故だろうテクニックは先輩奏者より劣っていると思うのですが。
そうなんですよね。何故なんだろうと考えるんですが、これは テクニック以前の 演奏、音での語りかけの妙かなと､､。
普段日常での自分たちの会話でも、ちょっとした言い方のニュアンスで伝わり方ってずいぶん違いますよね。ましてや芸術など表現する事に重きをおく時、音楽でも演劇の台詞でも絶妙な 間 や強弱は、表現者の捉え方と、それを具現化する力量でもって違いが大きく変わるんだろうなと､､。思ったりします。
障害者だからという先入観ではないと言い切れる人はいないでしょう
