Even ebay does that much, usually just on a scale from very poor to mint. At least the surprise gives you lottery content though haha. Congrats on your W mate
Streets of Rage 3 is not a bad game at all, the original 2 are still amazing to this day so the 3rd was a hard act to follow. I need the 3rd one also been eyeing it up in my local cex for a while just haven't gone for it yet, got Golden Axe the other day which I love also.. Completed it with my 14 year old daughter who loved it so will introduce her to Streets of Rage next. Super collection and games room mate and great video.

Amazing condition. I have come across a number of Sega Master System and Mega Drive games and you can tell they haven't been played when you look at the contacts/label. If i remember correctly the Japanese version is maybe easier/better balanced. I can't remember which one I played but I did enjoy it. It's a good game but SoR 2 is a hard act to folllow. Great to share joy like this with you.
First off, lovin the Wu-Tang hoodie 👍🙌 Absolute score Callum. Don't get it twisted, SOR3 is a very good beat em up. Yes the music isn't as memorable and the western release has a much harsher difficulty rate compared to it's Japanese counterpart, not to mention there some content taken out of the western version also. But regardless it's still one of the best beat em ups on the platform. Not one to be skipped. Awesome stuff bro.
Sor3 is actually quite a good game, just not as awesome as sor2, and not as iconic as sor1! The main thing that 'bugs me' is the bug in the finished game that stops the hit sound effects from sounding half the time, its so annoying and dissapointing. It also needs to be played on a model 1 high definition graphics megadrive for it to sound really good - it sounds like a cat being strangled on the Megadrive 2's cheaper sound chip!!! Awesome lottery win, and what fantastic condition - well done! 👏👍
@@RetroGhetto I Had the megadrive 1 when I was younger and it was the high definition graphics and sound model - when I got into retro gaming some years ago I got the megadrive 2 as it was more compact and I'd never had one. But it did not quite sound like I remembered the megadrive sounding!! - after some digging I found that the original model with the high definition graphics and sound writing on it was the only model to have the origional high specification chips etc. every megadrive revision after that model got cheaper chips and got worse and cheaper revision after revision. (If you had a megadrive 2 when younger then you would be used to it but if you had the original model there really is a difference!! This is in contrast to the snes whilst the megadrive got worse after each board revision, the snes got better after each board revision, early snes's with the board cpu01 have really blurry picture quality - the next revision cpu02 fixed this and is the bulk of the snes's out there, but the later 1chip revision snes's give an massive step up in picture sharpness and quality over all previous snes's when used with an rgb scart and are well worth searching one out!!

I didn't hate SoR3... it's not as bad as Golden Axe 3. It just wouldn't ever live up to No.2 Do you have the Genesis/mega drive box version of SoR4.. feel like it's need to get the full effect of the set.
As well as it being a good game but not as good as Streets of Rage 2, I think around the time SOR3 came out beat em ups where weirdly out of favour. I think Final Fight 3 on the SNES suffered mixed reviews as well (I think it is the best of the SNES games in my opinion - 2 player co-op and different paths make it a great play on the Super Retrocade)
@@RetroGhetto I would recommend the PAL Super Retrocade (was available in Argos)if you see it for a good price as the European version have some expensive SNES games to try before you purchase a boxed copy and the 2 joypads and plug and play might make a good gift for your son

You already said it in the video; this game's two most significant issues were following that incredible second entry, and the soundtrack, which even considered on its own away from the games, is pretty crap. Gameplay and features: wise, it’s not a bad game by any stretch, but Rage 2 was so phenomenal any follow-up would have a hard time impressing gamers
There is a few fake ones going around CeX I’ve heard. Funny how you class this a big hitter when there are so many more games selling for 3 to 4 times this price. Great you got it again though.

3 is good, but 2 was never going to be topped.
SOR 3 is my fave of the trilogy. Feels more fluid compared to the previous 2 games.
