I cannot express how grateful I am to Allah for allowing the Shaykh to present this understanding. I was raised under a form of Christianity distorted by the punitive aspect discussed by the Shaykh and to be brief, I became an “atheist” and my adaption to the world was compromised and led to much pain but eventually to Islam, which I know in my heart and has always been there and I am benefiting from greatly and trying to learn how to pass on to my family, InshaAllah. I am learning about the traditions and revelations of Islam and wish to express my gratitude to Allah and his revelations brought to me this morning through the Prophet and our Shaykh.
How can we interact with people without falling in the sin of backbiting and gossiping? And how can we vent without making those mistakes? I think this is something we grapple with a lot in our work space. Especially when the co-workers don’t share the same values. May Allah forgive us and give us patience to refrain from committing those major sins.
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “All of the children of Adam are sinners, and the best sinners are those who repent.”
I wish I had money - I would gladly have donated ! What I do have is prayer, I pray for you and the whole CMC to shine in this era of darkness. Ameen !
Al-hamdulillah that during the month of Ramadan, we eat our meal together as a family everyday. This is the only time that this happens everyday, without any exceptions. This is one of the proofs that Ramadan is a special month. A month of Rahma and gathering, even during hard times, such as this time of the pandemic. I am so grateful for this blessing.
There is peace in the blessed Sheikh's Voice and knowledge in his words. It is a whiff of fresh air when basking in the past gory, fear mongering and playing victim card become the defining style of some of the preachers and speakers. Jazakallah..... ❤
Assalamu 'alaykum. Thank you so much for this wide-ranging and deep lecture, Shaykh. As I said in the live chat, you reminded me of my maternal grandmother's village in Belarus when talking about your experiences of rural life in Bosnia. And thank you for your reminders about the balance needed between seclusion and engagement with society.
@@azamkhan1526 : Belarus is not in the Balkans; Bosnia is. Belarus is approximately 1,600 km to the north-east of Bosnia. I did say my *maternal* grandmother. She was not a Chowdhury. :) She was a Basharymava. My surname comes from my father, who is from Bangladesh.
You are the one speaker that I understand the most as the gentleness of speech imperceptibly permeates the mind instead of the usual timpani for one's ears.
Alhamdulillah. Although I am just listening to these lectures, We in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are in a state of emergency till Aug 2021 and possibly another Ramadhan in lockdown.
Thankyou Shaykh, may God bless you and protect you. Ameen I am supporting #carryonCMC and donated online and encourage everyone to make this a habit to ensure we continue to benefit from the high quality material going forwards
May Allah reward you for promoting a discourse that make us all human, humanistic and humane. This is what we need to heal the world. Baraka Allahu feekum wa ahsana Allahu lakum.
The section on forgetting names, even family members, really stood out to me. This was a great lecture. May Allah SWT guide you and provide you with even more knowledge and wisdom.
ALHUMDIALLAH. Allah is allowing us to have Inner understanding.. The wise words and tone in which they are being echoed.. Are soothing.. awakening.. Are an Requirements to go forward. Like music from the Flute..
Asalaamualaikum dear shaykh Abdal Hakim! You’re -ma shah Allah- amazing!! JazakAllahu Khairun! A timely and truthful lesson to us all! Also what an Amazing team you have! I love you all dearly!

Globalism is outsourcing usually with no questions asked while localism is in-sourcing. Keeping close to the source. The more local something is the more human it is likely to be.
Asaalam aleykum. I am grateful to Allah to allow you to provide us with all this illumination. I would like to know of the Muslim who torment themselves by beating until bleeding during the period of Ashura. What is the origin and merit of this?
Dear Abdul Hakim Murad, so many thanks for each of your word here and in all the other lecturers. I feel like being able to listen to you is a huge mercy from Allah. If you have time, could you answer my (maybe strange) question. Is there any doubt about the rule that women must be covered? It is a very important issue for me right now and I would really appreciate your answer. Thank you.
Salam alaikum. In mainstream Islam there's no doubt that the Hijab is obligatory for women. I don't think the Shaykh is going to read the comments under this video, but he has spoken on the Hijab in many clips before on TH-cam, so just search those up.
Thank you CMC for these wonderful talks and lectures that enable us to grow and nurture our faith during the blessed month. Is it maybe possible to ask Sheikh Abdal Hakim if he remembers the name of the Bosnian village he mentions in this talk? It might be the village that I live nearby in Central Bosnia :)
@@VStrain thanks, but Sinanova tekke is within the city of Sarajevo and Sheikh talks about his experience in Bosnian village. It could perhaps be the Naqshbandi tekke in village Vukeljići...
