As a Hindu, I find it strange, that a video as important as this, has only 40 000 views whereas "Smile2Jannah" and other channel videos like "Ali Dawah" that talk about current and social affairs has far more views.
Such is the state of majority of religious people.

I wish many Imams would follow his style giving khutba. For someone who prayed in many regions of the Islamic regions, some lack the talent to give a seminar in Islam. He’s calm and captivating.

I understand what you are saying ahki. However it is narrated that at times when the Prophet ﷺ would give a sermon his face ﷺ would become red and it would be as if was warning an army. So it is from the Sunnah إن شاء الله to at times be a bit more vocal when admonishing people in the khutbah. And Allāh Knows Best

As an Arabic Muslim I say that Sheikh Allama *Abdulhakim Murad*, رضي الله عنه, is different from Arabic Muslim contemporary scheikhs, in that his methodology in explaining principles, philosophy, insights of Islam is really touching our minds, souls and our hearts and awakening our consciousness and minds. He's very different and I really hope that all Muslims could have the opportunity to listen to his lessons and Friday sermons in particular. حفظكم الله بما حفظ به الذكر الحكيم

Sister Khushu is concentration in prayer. Understanding the Quran usually helps one concentrate 💯

    • @mrbadiuzzaman
      @mrbadiuzzaman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@mohamedAli-tj1ufthe sheikh explains khushu' 24:50 onwards - humility. It is often confused with concentration in solat. That concentration is one of the outcomes of being in a true state of humility or khushu' with the knowledge that in prayer one is in the presence of Allah the all powerful creator.

if there is one God - and there is, then there is only His path, and if he deserves worship then someone else being already on that path and inviting me is not manipulating. I must not believe in anyone's God for the sake of anyone nor someone else being on that path should change the Truth. For what would denying Truth because somebody else also/already believes in it and is not exclusive for me would make me? I think seeking knowledge should he handled separate from who calls me to it or who already have accepted it.

From Surah Isra, re: exclusivity of revelation or revelation w/ obeying whims of men:
"And We have explained to man, in this Qur´an, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude!
They say: "We shall not believe in thee, until thou cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth,
      Or (until) thou have a garden of date trees and vines, and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst, carrying abundant water;
Or thou cause the sky to fall in pieces, as thou sayest (will happen), against us; or thou bring Allah and the angels before (us) face to face:
Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read." Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- a messenger?"
What kept men back from belief when Guidance came to them, was nothing but this: they said, "Has Allah sent a man (like us) to be (His) Messenger?"

Prayer is a gift to aid us through life to get the only real and true success, "Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their Salat (prayers) with (khushu) all solemnity and full submissiveness." It's an exercise and just like any exercise if not done right (with khushu) it will not help. "Verily, man was created very impatient; Irritable when evil touches him; And niggardly when good touches him; Except those devoted to Salat"
Empty prayer is like copying homework from your friend and not doing them right yourself. You did the homework but defeated its purpose (to work hard to train you). It will temporarily satisfy the teacher because you cared enough to do your homework, but when the test comes, those homework will not help you pass.
Now you hate it when your kids don't say "please", "sorry", or "thank you". And you hate it more when they say them but they don't mean them. Because that defeats the purpose of those words. You need them to ask for help, to feel sorry, and to be thankful.
A person who doesn't do khushu is like that. And that happens when that person doesn't know (ignorant) that they need salah (to connect with Allah/prayer) or they think that they don't need it at all (arrogant). And those two types of people are what we seek refuge from at the end of Surat AlFatiha, (those who got the wrath upon them and those who are misguided).
So to gain khushu we should know and acknowledge that we need Salah (worship). We should know and acknowledge that we need hidaya (guidance). We should know and acknowledge that we need help.
"You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). Guide us to the Straight Way. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray."

      SALAT - LESSONS FROM GEESE 24:41 :
      وَمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَائِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّا أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الْكِتَابِ مِن شَيْءٍ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ
[6:38] There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, NOR A BIRD THAT FLIES WITH ITS TWO WINGS, BUT ARE COMMUNITIES LIKE YOU. WE HAVE NEGLECTED NOTHING IN THE BOOK, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered.
      *Salat 24:41 - Lessons from Geese *
      [Chapter 24: The Light, An-Noor, النُّوْر : Verse 41]
[24:41] DO YOU NOT SEE that everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies God? EVEN THE BIRDS IN FORMATION, EACH KNOWS ITS SALAT (CONNECTION) AND ITS GLORIFICATION. And God is fully aware of everything they do.
      1. LEADERSHIP : It turns out, that the inherent nature of geese in flight has a lot to teach us about leadership, connection and teamwork.
[21:73] AND WE MADE THEM LEADERS / IMAMS who guide by Our command, and WE INSPIRED THEM TO DO GOOD WORKS and hold the SALAT (CONNECTION) and contribute towards purification, and they were in service to Us.
[24:56] And hold the SALAT (CONNECTION) and contribute towards purification, AND OBEY THE MESSENGER, that you may attain mercy.
      2. TEAM WORK : Geese fly together, they share a common goal and direction.
[20:14] Surely, I AM ALLAH. There is no god but Myself, so serve Me, and ESTABLISH SALAH FOR MY REMEMBRANCE.
[9:71] THE BELIEVERS, MALE AND FEMALE, ARE FRIENDS / ALLIES TO EACH OTHER. THEY BID VIRTUE AND FORBID VICE and ESTABLISH THE SALAT (CONNECTION) and contribute towards purification AND OBEY ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER. Those are the ones whom Allah will bless with mercy. Surely, Allah is Powerful, Wise.
[29:45] RECITE WHAT IS INSPIRED TO YOU OF THE BOOK and hold the SALAT (CONNECTION), FOR THE SALAT (CONNECTION) PROHIBITS IMMORALITY AND VICE; but CERTAINLY THE REMEMBRANCE OF GOD IS THE GREATEST. God knows everything you do.
Lesson : When your team has a common goal that they want to reach, they will be more efficient, effective, and successful when they work together.
      3. COMMUNICATION : Geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep up their speed
[17:110] Say, Call (Him by the name of) Allah or Ar-RaHman, in whichever way you call, His are the Best Names. AND DO NOT BE (TOO) LOUD IN YOUR SALAT (CONNECTION), NOR BE (TOO) LOW IN IT, AND SEEK A WAY IN BETWEEN.
[42:38] and those who have responded to their Lord (in submission to Him), and have established the SALAT (CONNECTION), AND WHOSE AFFAIRS ARE (SETTLED) WITH MUTUAL CONSULTATION BETWEEN THEM, and who spend out of what We have given to them,
[2:83] We made a covenant with the Children of Israel: Serve God alone, be good to your parents, relatives, orphans and the poor. SPEAK NICELY / KINDLY TO PEOPLE, perform the SALAT (CONNECTION) and contribute towards purification. THEN ALL BUT A FEW OF YOU TURNED AWAY AS YOU WEREN'T INTERESTED.
In groups where there is encouragement, the productivity is greater. Remembering to provide recognition and encouragement towards each other (including the leaders) is vital to keep teams motivated and achieving their goals.
      4. EMPATHY AND SUPPORT : When a goose gets sick or wounded, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to support, assist and protect. They stay until the goose dies or can fly again. Then, they launch a new formation or catch up with the flock.
[5:106] O YOU WHO BELIEVE! CALL TO WITNESS BETWEEN YOU WHEN DEATH DRAWS NIGH TO ONE OF YOU, at the time of making the will, TWO JUST PERSONS FROM AMONG YOU, OR TWO OTHERS FROM AMONG OTHERS THAN YOU, if you are travelling in the land and the calamity of death befalls you; the two (witnesses) you should detain after the SALAT (CONNECTION); then if you doubt (them), they shall both swear by Allah, (saying): We will not take for it a price, though there be a relative, and we will not hide the testimony of Allah for then certainly we should be among the sinners.
[5:55] FOR YOUR SUPPORTER ARE GOD AND HIS MESSENGER AND THOSE WHO BELIEVE; they hold the SALAT (CONNECTION) and contribute towards purification, and they kneel/take heed.
