I made this with cherry planks, grey stones for the corners and chimney, teal warped wood fencing, and black front steps and roof. It took a minute but was totally worth it. It's freaking stunning, it looks like a Victorian masterpiece. Thanks, Lex, you rock.
Just finished! An absolutely stunning build, changed the pallette to match my vibe, did Warped to replace the Dark Oak and Mangrove to replace the Spruce and Oak. Also wanted a darker vibe so changed the Stone bricks to Blackstone. Took me about two hours. Love the third floor vibes, great design and Layout, the room in the roof next to it makes a great storage space.
this reminds me of those old old tutorials i used to watch back when i was 9 and didnt even have any access to minecraft , and i would just stare there open mouthed in awe of wow this gives the same vibes.

After many hours trying this build out in survival and losing my mind against skeletons and the occasional creeper sending me to see herobrine I finally completed this build! I didn't like the feel of dark oak as the walls. So I opted for stripped dark oak for the corners, deepslate brick as the base walls, Dark oak planks for the floors mixed in with with stripped spruce logs. The walls inside I kept dark oak stripped and the chimney and tower I kept cobbled deepslate. The roofing I decided to go with deepslate tile stairs with polished deepslate scattered around. Finally All of the accents for the windows and trim is in spruce planks Stairs, slabs, fences. every single trap door was in dark oak. Great build awesome design
5 Hours ??? man it took me 1 and a half. just a tip when building big houses like this GET ELYTRA and a gunpowder farm. it basically took all scafollding and reduced time it took to make the house by so much :) its also usefull for late game

This is a very nice build. I put my own spin on it for my liking, and i had to make the main room bigger- I play in survival and it wasnt big enough depth-wise.
Oh my god it finally happened. A youtube builder finally figured out you can use grid patterns of alternate colors to make it incredibly easy to see! lol. In all honesty the only thing I can "critique" perhaps is when you give dimensions, (just for the sake of clarity; not like youre not easy to understand...) is where you say "+6" right, can go "+6 for 7 total". It just helps when people alt tab and stuff. Very survival friendly and good looking build; good job. Very easy to mod for taste as well. Cheers
Finished on bedrock, xbox, 3 hours later. With all of the right supplies and maybe going back twice for some more, it was worth it. Very detailed house!

A barley 30 minute video took me 7 freaking hours- because I made the house 49 blocks long instead of 29 all day and then had to figure out how to make these dementions fit what I was building it took a while but thank you. You did everything in the middle in the video and made it even so this was hard to build yes but was totally worth calling off work for.. hope my boss doesn’t find out. 😅
Hey Lex, this was great and I built this house in survival! All I did was just make the base a little smaller and I added a few more windows. This house was so pretty! Thanks for helping me build this house! It also gave me ideas for future houses :)
TYSM! This is gorgeous I particularly like the front windows on the ground floor. Only nitpick I have is that you can't really look through some of the windows from the floor, its a bit elevated. Still beautiful 👍
this was very fun! my first ever minecraft build!! i messed up and couldn't fix it but you cant really tell 10/10 very cool my sister was proud of me and wants me to build her a house
Thanks bro! I used mangrove for the flooring and blackstone for the front porch floor. I also made the chimney worth desperate and i absolutely love it. Perfect dark academia vibe i was going for❤

It took me like 6h to build this not including the resources gathering as I built this in my survival world. Add the closest spruce Forest was like 3000 blocks away and I couldn't be bothered to go there so I made it all with dark oak which still looks alright. The only annoying part was I had to get down from the house to go get the resources from the chest and I had to use a water bucket every time to get back up. But overall it was really fun to build.
I usually just build however i feel even tho I kinda suck just because most tutorials are hard to follow but I didn’t know how to build with dark oak as the main wood so I looked up dark oak house and then I find the great tutorial thanks 🙏

Attention Minecrafters: Don't forget to add some torches in any hollow roofs in your builds! Can't have anything spawning up there!😅
monsters in the attic 🤣

Sounds like someone’s had an experience with a mob in a roof …… oh wait 🤣 so have I

Dark oak is right next to spruce imo!
