When I lived in California now in Florida. The only thing that bothered me about Tahoe was how deep the lake was in case you had to ditch. Talk about schools we have lots in Florida most all airports were old WW2 training airports. The east coast is loaded with old fields. Lots of history here as far as aviation go. An old friend I knew in Calif learned to fly Corsairs in Florida during WW2 he ended up flying for United. And also knew a pilot that flew B17s I sure miss all of the great people I knew that have passed away I learned a lot from them. Now I am retired and watching videos like this. Next stop for me will be heaven, I hope.

Ran across your channel this morning. Love the Diamond planes - did my commercial training in the DA40. Haven't flown the DA42 yer, but hoping to do so out of KCHS in the next few months. Kudos to you for your boldness of your faith and adding the passage in your video. I'm a retired Army Chaplain and really enjoy seeing how people interject their faith in the every day seasons of life. Keep it up.

What an awesome flight, I did my multi in a DA 42 and I loved it. I was blown away hearing you read the Bible verse to all of us. As a Christian, at times we don't proclaim lord as a savior due to others feelings or what others might think! Amen! The gospel needs to be heard and shared, considering the state of the US and the rest of the world. One thing I plan to do, God willing, is to incorporate the gospel and ministry with my flying once I become a licensed pilot with an IFR rating. Amen and amen.

question: why did you go around. You said there was a guy still in the runway but you got clearance to land. Does this mean you have the freedom to make a decision to land or go around? or is this part of VFR flying?
good question. There is no tower at that airport so no one had cleared me to land. It is my discretion to either land or not and because of the plane in front of me, it was unsafe so I went around.
