The 2024 X3 is a really great vehicle. It’s priced fairly for what you get. It’s quick, smooth and elegant while still being sporty. I got mine loaded for $60k MSRP but also got a nice discount so the price was very reasonable. This is THE best compact luxury SUV in the market right now!(IMO). TEST DRIVE ONE.
I have an X3 X drive 30i in Mineral White with Cognac interior and MSport Package. It’s got sedan other options as well. This trim is great and I’ve put on over 5,000 miles in the last 6 months. White exterior with black grill and black accents looks amazing. 20” wheels and it still drives quick and very smooth. Love it!
When you get a m sport version there’s typically m sport suspension upgrades as well as subtle engine steering transmission and braking stuff that’s makes the car feel a lot better that they don’t bother putting out there. If you know you know 🔥
Wow. Man. You did an excellent job sharing both true strengths and few weaknesses this beautiful BMW X3 XDrive30i represents. We test drove a 2024 X3 just like this package over the weekend and love it! BMW pretty much wins in this segment with the X3 being at the top of the class with overall reliability and performance that people want more and more these days!
Good review. I like the way you hit all the high points. I own a 2024 X3 sDrive 30i in Brooklyn Grey, MSport package with gloss black 20” wheels. It drives out just like you said and as good as I expected from a BMW. I chose this SUV because the of base engine and ZF transmission. The B48 engine is a great engine by all accounts and it is an engine without any electric assist, i.e. mild hybrid or hybrid. All the Audi and Mercedes-Benz SUV’s in this category are mild hybrids. I’m not down with adding a 48volt system on top of an already complicated vehicle. BMW uses mild hybrid also, so if one wants to avoid such. One has to do the homework. As for the MSport package, yes you get a lot of M’’s, but by getting it you get a better looking car. Front fascia, lower sides and rear end treatment. Different color choices and wheel options. A lot to consider. Oh, and those fake vents, yes they are there, but the front side vents, at least on the MSport, actually go all the way through into the front wheel arches. I heard for aerodynamics. It really is the “best in class”. And the ZF 8HP transmission is quite fabulous. The best automatic transmission I have ever experienced. And it is a “regular transmission”. I’ve owned 2 DCT (dual clutch transmission) cars and they are very cool. But this ZF beats them all around. It shifts fast and very smooth. And the bonus is it should be considerably cheaper to repair or replace. A Porsche PDK can run upwards of $20,000 to replace. Last time I checked they will only replace it and a Volkswagen DSG can run $5k. The Porsche Macan has a VW DGS transmission. Even though Porsche calls it a PDK. The 911 has a “real” PDK, it is different and more robust. The 4 cylinder engines in the Macan and Audi’s are e888 engines. A great engine, it even has a iron block! My VW Golf GTI has a version of is as does the Golf R. But a comparable Macan is $8-10 grand more than the X3 30i. It is a Porsche.
@@RealKevGotEm I hope you do. All the versions of the sDrive30i are nice and probably drive out the same. I did opt for the temporary spare, which raises the floor in the back by 3.5" or so. I just couldn't go without a spare. It may be overkill. Anyway, good luck in your search.
@@RealKevGotEm No problems so far, only 1200 miles and just broken in as of Feb. 19th. I know a lot of BMW's come with run flat's, I just like options. A sidewall blowout and all of a sudden one needs a spare. Plus I may go with non-run flat the next time around if possible, not sure about if I can.
I have this car in Brooklyn gray with 21inch wheels, if my dealer would have had this on the lot i would have chosen this way, i love the physical buttons, i took mine in for maintenance and they put me in a 24 330i i liked the curved dash but didnt like all the buttons missing , id buy an electric x3 when they come out if they dont jack up the price
Previous BMW X3 model engines have defective design that leads to permanent engine failure.I would not rely even on newer BMWs past the warranty period. In the past customers have faced engine issues ranging from timing belt to fuel pump low pressure resulting to engine blow outs. BMW dealers are quoting anything in the range of 15k to 20 k for engine replacement with no major recalls on this issue. There is also a class action suite for these defective engines for which BMW was asked try the courts to compensate the affected customers. Absolutely a lemon of a brand !
Thanks for watching! Good news - my next review coming out in 3 weeks will be the 2023 Lexus NX350h! Also, if you haven’t looked already, I reviewed the 2023 X1 pretty recently too! 2023 BMW X1 xDrive28i Review th-cam.com/video/zJP9QYSiQ84/w-d-xo.html

A lot of reviewers miss the x3 stamped in the B pillar under the doors, nice little easter egg
You can use the preset buttons for nearly any car setting (lighting, climate sync etc) not just audio
I was just coming to the comments to say that. They're not just radio presets.
Yes, I believe even navigation settings.

Just got an upgrade on my rental for this trip and they got me an X3 2023. Very nice indeed. Will be test driving it for the next week.
my dad had this car my friend wants one and this review is an S tier to show him great video
Very good review. I appreciate that you have your own opinion.
One of the best reviews I’ve seen on the x3Ms. Typo, x3’s
this is not a x3m but yes very good review
Very nice and as always great review.
X3 is till the best in the segment …
Because Q5 and GLC are too narrow …
X3 is cheaper than GLC, more versatile
BC stands for Board Computer. changes display info
It is available - I have the 2024 x3 with M sport, looks just like this one actually.

love that you’re listening to bends by CRJ 😅
I love CRJ! 😊 thanks for watching!
My wife rented an X3. She fell in love with it to the point she traded her Terrain in for a '23 X3.

I have the 2020 and my soon to be ex is taking it as part of a divorce settlement. I want the 2024 anyways, better looking. LOL
U need any ex?

I checked the configurator & they still have the M Sport package as an option
I love it, but where is my spare tire and jack
I have one as well, the 2023. A great vehicle. Not a fan of the 2025 design.
Aftermarket rims would be the first thing to put on
Can you test drive the 2023-24 Lexus nx 350 pretty please?
I wanted to compare that with the 2023 bmw x1..
