Impressive setup and quality trailers. Nice to see a boss that appears to know what he’s talking about in relation to how the trailers are made etc..
Thanks John.
Fascinating and brought back some memories. I retired 15 years ago after approx 40 years working in the automotive and hose and fittings industry .Some of my early customers were Crane Fruehauf, Taskers, Foden, ERF, Guy motors etc many of which have long disappeared.
Love these type of videos seeing top quality engineering at its best . Superb product ! 👍🏻
Thanks Dave, stay tuned for more content to come.
I loved the commercial step deck I used here in NZ. 4 axle with last steering, flip out ramps. Such a great piece of kit. Paired nicely with our Volvo.
Very good video a lot of information top quality trailer and the man doing the commentary knows exactly what he’s talking about
Thanks Jim, more content to come.
Great video and looks a very good quality production line and nice to have the Taylor made option 🔥
Thanks.
Fantastic video clip 👌 👏
Thanks for commenting, stay tuned for more content.
Excellent content, along with explaining the whole process from start to Birth Certificate. The only thing that was missing was putting a radius on the hardwood around the hold-downs and a little oil on the binders for the dovetail ramp. I hope more content is on the way.
Great suggestion!
Very well built
Some top quality engineering in these trailers 😊
Thanks Stephen!
I wish we could get quality trailers like this in the USA! What is the advantage of welding two C-Channels together for the drawbar, instead of using a square tube?
@sccolbert, if you visit our website there will be contact for export sales they can provide you with a price on a trailer, we do have some equipment in the USA currently closes dealer would be in Canada currently. The answer to your question we use 2 channel sections on the drawbar as this is a stock material we carry it gives the same strength as box section, even with the labour and welding time it is more cost effective to manufacture the drawbars this way.
Serious machines
Would we be seeing one at gloagburn if nc could do you a deal?
😅 good idea Pete!
@Crawfordsfarm1 gives us a call, contact details on our website im sure we can build a trailer to your specification. www.nc-engineering.com
@@NCengineeringLtd sounds like Crawford might end up with a top notch low loader
Brilliant video
Thanks Danny
Excellent sales pitch..
Do you wet coat the paint or are they powder coated ?
I have seen one of your dumpers at an agri dealership close to my house (northern France) . Interesting
@siberg6257 yes France is a large market for NC with site dumpers Payen Rozary en Brie is our importer/distributor in France.
Best quality
We pride ourselves on high standards and high expectations.
Haven’t managed to watch yet but I’ve always wondered how the big artic trailers are made with a bow in them so that they take the weight better.. You see the bow when they’re empty. Just curious..
@deebo1812 some manufactures will pre stress the beam to allow for defection, when the trailer is fully loaded. Normally on over length trailers or heavy haulage trailers. Stay tuned as in the near future we will be doing the same style of video on our commercial trailer range.
Update to airbag suspension & disc brakes
Agreed for many things airbags and disk are better. But most buyers buy off if price point and drums are more than sufficient for 99.9% if applications. I’m from across the pond where tractors aren’t used as they are over there but airbags aren’t robust enough for the coalfields and mountains of heavy haul. 60 ton on 35ft trailer bouncing off-road and narrow back roads are the norm.
@mnblkjh6757 this style of trailer is for agricultural tractor tow based work we also manufacture commercial trailers for lorry tow, featuring Air Suspension or Mechanical Suspension with either Disc brakes or drums.
You could sell snow to the Eskimo’s Rab 😂
🇨🇦🤓🤟
😮😮
Trailers are definitely built way more heavy duty compared to the usa.....
We keep our standards high.
Nothing in America is built to this standard. Hop across the pond and set up business.
We can ship trailers to the US, it is not a problem.
