@@andycasile I have multiple amps. Marshal 9100 a Roland cube, and I use my line 6 Pod go also. The volume control on all my guitars only make it quieter and louder. My guitars are Aria Pro II and Ibanez SA260.
@@TheTimeProphet This only works on a dirty amp. If you set the amps with some gain, the volume control will affect the gain. But if you set them clean, it's not going to do anything other than make your guitar quiet.
@@KenKellySWFL yes, that's true. For the pop, country, rock and musical theater stuff I do, it's enough. But if you're after true high gain, there are plenty of amps for that too.

This isn’t really high gain though!
