this is super fascinating, thank you for putting this together and getting all of these interviews!! i think i was brainwashed into thinking all high-leveled players went with +5/+5 and I’m so relieved to know that’s not the case! 😭
nice video!! i'd recommend putting the background music a bit quieter in the future, it was hard to understand what some people were saying over the music at certain points
I don't think there is anything wrong with using one of your favorite player's sensitivity as a point of reference, especially when you're new to the game. 0/0 works in Splatoon 3, because the differences aren't extreme, but I remember when rocket league came out, the default camera and sensitivity settings were absolutely awful. Nigh unplayable. Going with a pro player's settings was definitely the way to go and adjust from there to fit what feels right to you. That's why I went with DUDE's settings and made slight adjustments.
Im actually learning how motion works after doing 100% splatoon 3 story (including after alterna) and finishing both the stories in splatoon 2 on sticks. And i grinded 30 levels in splat 3 on sticks too. So its a rough transitionfor me.... Currently im trying roughly a 3.5-4 i think motion and 3 on sticks. So we will see how it goes on playing a small screen
Really cool video and really interesting subject! Aim is so important in this game, yet this game really makes the aim too simplistic. My wish for the next splatoon (that Nintendo will never do because it is Nintendo) is that they would have some advanced options (Via a press of a button, so the menu isn't clustered) and they would let you tweak the aim even further, with vertical and horizontal options, AND AN OPTION TO ALLOW Y AXIS AIM WITH THE STICK ON MOTION CONTROLS SCHEME... that last part would make me be a motion controls user. But yeah, I guess as they all said, each one has their confortable controls schemes, and each one of us has to find our own.
That was a good video. I use 3 Motion, and 4.5 Sticks, because i am the frontliner, and a shooter main, like Tentatek Splattershot, Hero Shot, and my 2nd main is Flingza Roller. Yeah, my aim may not be perfect, because i can't turn my wrist too much so i don't hurt my wrist, anyways, i perfer motion controls also. I play motion sense S1 in 2016, anyways, then 1 year hiatus, i have to get back use to motion controls in 2017, Anyways, good video.
Edit: Solved. Does anyone else have a problem where there sensitivity keeps getting reset to the default? It’s inconsistent when it happens, but it’s really irritating because I don’t always notice it immediately.
Check your freshest fits if you use that to change your weapon/builds a lot. freshest fit doesn't just save your builds, but it also saves the sensitivity you used when saving it!

I totally understand what you mean. Some of the players were a bit quieter overall, I noticed it when editing. I'll note for next time!
