Home improvements are part of life’s everyday cycle. Your stock of harvested jams, chutneys, preserves etc., must growing; thus making the land start to pay back some revenue. Looking good folks! ❤
Hi Cool CPA! Funny, because I didn't realize you could do so much with peaches! My first thought was jam and since Philippe isn't a big fan of the taste it's all for me and Odin, haha. I'll definitely try out your suggestions this year, maybe get Philippe to taste peach in a different dish 😄 (Anicia)
@@DomaineSauvage Apricots are another versatile fruit and can be used in similar ways (jam, apricot-blackberry pie, etc). Fortunately, with the internet, you'll have access to plenty of recipes. You've got such a lovely family. I wish you all the best.
Hello and happy biddings. I am 13 episodes in and subscribed today to your lovely channel. As a parent who received bits of criticism for exposing my children to dirt, animals, etc.… I explained their critiques by letting them know it is part of building humans' immune systems. I am 55 and a child of the 70s; when we were free and left to touch and put anything in our mouths, I have an incredibly kicking immune system that I am forever thankful for. Not only will Odin thank you for the unforgettable experiences and memories, but he will also thank you for his excellent health and fantastic immune system! 🌳🐕🐈 🐔🦗🐛🪴
Those peaches on that tree look wonderful. You’re going to have plenty to make everything under the sun with. I like peaches very much, but I can never judge when they’re ripe. They’re either hard as a rock from the grocery store, or they’ve gone by, lol. Good luck! 😅
I am really enjoying this channel. I am watching now in cold rainy windy weather. So loving the summer weather even if it's not right now through your channel. I am hoping by the time I catch up with episode you have many many subscribers
Thx Kathy, you still have some videos to go before the rain hits 😂! It helps when people like and leave a comment on the videos, but it is going up slow and steady 👍
If you haven't tried peach and ginger jam, I highly recommend it! We are very fond of all things made of peaches! Jam, pies, tarts, tea, cake, fruit salad, peach salsa, glaze for pork. We will put them in a blender, turn it into pulp, freeze it in ice cube trays, then store the cubes in freezer bags. Add it to oatmeal for breakfast! Yummy! We freeze sliced peaches or preserve them for anything you can imagine! Peaches and cantalopes are the best thing about summer!
Hello Abigail! I haven't tried it with ginger yet. I love ginger, so I'm definitely going to make it this year. I love all the suggestions for peach recipes and am eager to try them because I could only think of turning those big amounts into jam at the time and although I love eating them fresh from the tree the amount was too great😄 Thanks for the tips! (Anicia)
Love, Love, Love your channel! Great job and I love following your progress. I'm delighted to see the new chickens too. If you haven't done so already, the sawdust from the wood shredder is perfect for the chicken coop along with all the hay you removed from the barn. It would be so much more comfortable for the chickens to nest and scratch and to lay their eggs. Thanks so much for taking us along with you on your adventure.
We had such a bumper crop of peaches one year, the branches broke. What we didn't eat fresh, we stewed or shared. We don't go through much jam. Stewed fruit on the other hand, was always welcome, especially with cream. You are doing so well with the clean up. Best wishes.
Its funny you say this because a lot of the peach tree have broken branches from the weight so this year we should have a look if we should prune or support them. 👍
I just discovered your channel today and have binge watched all afternoon. Incredible. You are such hard workers and keep it real. I will be watching through these chronologically so as not to miss anything. I am an American living in Germany w my German husband and our three children.
You're doing great with such a big estate and in such a short time! Keep up the good work! I saw you on the roof, cleaning the chimney (I am not sure what it was) However you have to get a certficate from a professional before using any fireplace or chimney in the house...It's only a matter of home insurance policy just in case. I hope your new home will keep you warm this winter 😊
Yes we cleaned the chimney and then we put a tube in it. So the tube itself is new at the moment, but you bring up a good point and i will have a look if we need it to be cleaned by someone who is certified! 👍
You two are so productive!! Honesty i get tired just watching the work you do!!! Great work on the trees. I have a question, why do you tip your jam jars upside down? Im interested to learn. 😊❤
Hello LimousinLife! Thanks for the lovely comment! I was taught to fill the sterilized jars with hot jam and turn them upside down because it helps to seal the jar as the jam cools down. Then you have less chance of spoilage. There is also the method where you seal the jar while holding it in boiling water, but then you need the right gear to be able to do it safely. (Anicia)
@DomaineSauvage yes please. I can understand a little. I love to hear it,but then I feel a little left out. I am enjoying so much watching your progress. Can you show the layout of inside of your home. You both are such hard workers. You amaze me in each video❤️ Sending hugs from Mississippi USA ❤️

Peach jam, peach cobbler, peach pie, peach tarte, peach compote, peach pancakes, peach French toast, peach trifle, poached peaches, peach salsa, peach salad, peach tea, peach cocktails, peach liqueur, peach vinegar, peach cheesecake, peach sorbet, peach ice cream...

Hey Patricia thx for the compliment, winter time will be a bit less beautiful with all the rain we had but spring is coming we can feel it 😂

Hey Jenn, the hay from the barn we composted because, we do use hay in their coop but most of the time they are free roaming!

Progress on your property. Like the outdoor meals.
Hey Mark, thx we are getting better days and are able to have outdoor meals again!
Liked the cloud ‘splashes’ at the end and June standing at attention. Enjoying your videos. Hello from BC Canada.
Glad you like them!
Boy beautiful job clearing the brush and trees
Thx!
And from South Africa...peach, apple ,sugar, chilli, raisins and onion chutney excellent with curry
Sounds great!
Roof ladder and regular ladder up to the pipe must be much better...
Love ❤watching

De lucht zoooooo blauw, wat verlangen wij naar de zon! Maar maart is net begonnen, nog effekes
Wij ook, het is hier een regenachtige herfst en winter geweest.. De natuur is wel wakker aan het worden 👍
Wow great peaches
Thx, this year they are very late!
You are a beast, you have done so much already. It must feel great seeing it coming together though. Love watching your content.👍
Yeah sometimes we have to stand still and see what we have already done :)
Pretty dog and kitty
June and Lucie, we had a second cat but he died just before joining us to France.
11:39 the chicken replied, I love it!! 😂

@@DomaineSauvage Thank you for taking the time to reply. We will try that when we make more jam.
With pleasure and good luck!

suggestion: Ask your husband if the lawn mower has a place to attach a smaller hitch.. so he don't have to pull the mulcher by hand.
In the future videos you might see something like that happening 😅😉🙏
Wauw… Yliam you did a top job!!! High in the sky 😮 👍🏻🫣. Thx for helping my brother ❤
Such a sweet smiley baby hes so cute!
I missed what those 2 squares are that are in ground
Hello, thx for the nice comment! Which squares do you mean? The concrete slabs close to the chicken coop?
Behoudens perzik, welke andere fruitbomen hebben jullie ? 😉
I wonder if you have Truffles on your land as it holds all the right conditions for them..
We are close to the region where they have truffles but i don't know if we have them..
Phew, that was funny. It worked.👍
Yeah we aren't professional tree removers 😅
Put some of those wood chips in the floor of your chicken coop. Soft for the chickens and holds their poop like kitty liter. Easier to clean out.
We put the old hay of their nesting box under their sitting area.
I could almost smell the peaches cooking ❤
I do wish you could English subtitles to what everyone is saying in videos ❤
I feel a bit left out
Do you mean when we are talking Dutch?
@DomaineSauvage yes please. I can understand a little. I love to hear it,but then I feel a little left out. I am enjoying so much watching your progress. Can you show the layout of inside of your home. You both are such hard workers. You amaze me in each video❤️

I think Anicia manually adds subtitles in the later videos so it might be included then.
❤❤❤
Super👏👍👍👍❤️
Could we have some subtitles?
Subtitles should be there?
👍👊
You havent introduced your lovely dog. Whqt breed is he and what is his name? I love he stands quite still staring a a distant sounds.
Hello, her name is June and she is a Belgian Malinois!
Why don’t subtitles work
Every video or just this one?
