There actually is a trunk keyhole, just almost unnoticeable next to the 4 license plate holes. It's very slightly more noticeable with a license plate covering the other 4 holes. And thanks for the vid. Very helpful. I'm test driving one with 100k miles in the morning. Vids like yours let me know what to look for and are very helpful, thanks.
I pulled the trigger and bought the '04 Signature. 97K miles but spotless body and undercarriage and runs like a clock. Again this vid and others helped me decide, much appreciated.
I’m about to buy an Ultimate L to hang onto for that reason. I daily a 98 Lincoln Signiture Series now. Thing made me developed a soft spot for Town Cars.
Just purchased an 04 love the smooth ride .had Jags BMW and Range Rover over the years .at age 76 love the comfort driving this car feel also very very safe and secure .
Very nice. Looks just like my 2003 except for the extra chrome and the hideous wheels. Never seen the chrome around the tail lights, kinda tacky. It is unfortunate that these cars became more simple and less refined as the years progressed.
0:43 "More modern takes on large luxury cars started to appear" I wonder what those are? The Town car and Jaguar XJ were the last cars for gentlemen and fine ladies... After that it's only the likes of Rolls-royce and Bentley. But those are on another price range. Mercedes and BMW are not for the same demographic either. Those are for the cocky businessmen with an aggressive, narcissistic go-getter attitude.
I actually don't disagree. I do not like the direction Jaguar is going. All their new cars look like Buicks to me. I think these new "luxury" cars are more in line with sports cars. A true luxury car does not need a "sport tuned" suspension. I'd have to say that the Panther Platform cars were probably the last true American luxury boulevard cruisers.

I have a 2004 Ultimate black on black, under 25K miles.
Nice! Ultimate was the top trim and not down the middle. Check out my Town Car in my channel.
You know, you can replace your door handle on ebay for like $70
