Thank you, Taylor, for another purrfect review and for pointing us towards Ninja Star to pick up the game. I ordered a copy as this game looks amazing! It's appreciated! Happy New Year!
Cheeers, Hecatesson!!! Hope you love the game and happy new year!!! 😁🎊
I can't believe I missed this game at TGM too! But I guess I already stuffed too many games in all my pockets to get my luggage weight down for the flight home, so I would have had to find this one another time anyway. Thanks for the review!!
Hahaa love that move, Dylan! Bursting at the seams with games is the best way to board! 😁
Ordered it ❤
You rock, Table!
Cheers, Max!! I hope you love it!!
Been waiting on a review for this one. Thanks for the insight
So glad i could help! Thanks for watching, eskimo!!
Meowtastic video Taylor! 🐈 Looking to table this today, this video helped with that! Do you have any other favorites from Fukutarou?
This looks like a great game. I love the mechanics. Ordered it thru Ninja Star. Thanks for the review!!
Cheeers, Eric! I hope you love it!!
Another solid review, Taylor! I've been enjoying my plays of Catsle Builders. With more and more information being open towards the end of the hand, the later tricks can be quite brutal. I love the potential for screwage because it is there. Although, some players may feel uneasy that the best move may be to punish another player, but lowkey you gotta be doing it. My BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that there should have been one more card that listed rank/draft and bonus scoring on it, so it could be a player aid for all the players. Nobody likes looking up charts mid-game. But a solid trick taking game that I'm glad to add to my collection!
Quick Question: Even though the rules say the discarded undrafted cards go face down off to the side, have you ever left them played face up? We tried it due to my "Tony Rule". There was a Tony in my old play group who was a master of counting cards, so we made a Tony Rule where hidden information that could be calculated would just remain open when playing against Tony. We did the Tony Rule on the second round and had a great time counting the cards and calculating our plays.
Where did you get the game? Unfortunately, I can almost never find any game reviewed by Taylor at a reasonable price (or find them at all). 😢
there is a link in the video description to purchase the game @@maxfaf259
Yes, I know, but with the shipping, it's unfortunately way too expensive.
@@maxfaf259 Even from Tanuki Games? They're in Austin, Texas.
@@CardboardEast They have it, but I'm in Canada and they're sadly not shipping here.
Thank you for reviewing! It was really fun about collaborate with you at TGM.
BTW, what is the "Memolist?" that compared at 16:11. I'm sorry for my poor English.
He's referring to Mit List und Tucke. A game that has been reprinted in Korea as Plotters Inc
@@jp6v Oh, I deeply appreciate your support! I know this game well. I can understand what he said, thanks for your comment.
Oh yes, so sorry for mumbling! Jp6v is right! Another wonderful game!
Thank you soooo much for making such a wonderful game!!!
Bob...the Builder?...Vila?
Hahaaa great point, Afrank! I'll go both, though the former was foremost on my mind!
FYI my rules say it’s 3 rounds, not a round per player.
Oh you're so right, thank you!!
We've found that 3 players is ideal for all trick-taking games--only at 3 is the balance between control and chaos at its peak. Adding more players just means more chaos and less control. If you or anyone has a trick-taker you think shines brighter at 4 or 5, let me know...we've played many, but perhaps not the one that shines at 4. Also...not The Crew...it's a fun gimmick game but it's garbage in terms of trick-taking
Hot Takes on trick takes!! I've heard loads about 4 being best for partnerships, but yeah I've seen player counts of all kinds truly work in this amazing genre!
@@ClaudeAndTaylor AH yes, for partnerships, clearly 4 is optimal :) Still haven't tried Catsle at 4, but we do really like it at 3!
OMG HOME INVASION STORY LINE????????
Heheheheeee
