Just discovered this channel. This is a really wonderful and fun channel to watch. I am surprised it has only 600 odd subscribers... Deserves way more. The editing, the camera angles, the audio quality, etc. everything is top notch.

4:33 I believe is an illegal move because the spider cannot slide freely into the gap, which it would have to be able to do for a smooth move that obeys the rules of movement.
I recreated it IRL and this move is legal, the piece can freely slide in and out.

Sir can a beetle (in playing a new tile) can place on top already to another tile? Is it a legal move?
No, all tiles have to be placed next to another tile and not touching an opponent's tile. The beetle cannot be placed directly on top of a tile
Without wishing to be unkind, that was the most inept game of Hive I've ever witnessed.

When the beetle covers the bee, does this remove the ability to surround? And if both side have beetles on bees can game continue?
No, the beetle just stops it from moving, it can still be surrounded

Yes, if you're able to move it it can!

Moving that bee doesn't break the hive.
The hive can't have a hole in it. If for instance the white spider hadn't been there, moving the bee would've created a gap with the black ant at the bottom. And that's not allowed.
But! Pieces can only be moved if there's space to move (two adjacent sides of a piece need to be clear of bugs in order to move)

No, If you can slide it out it can move! If one more piece was attached it would be stuck.
