Rebalancing the viltage of all NiMH cells is normally the best way of maintenance for a HV battery. Not helped by the fact that Toyota doesn't offer such simple maintenance and rather flog you a new crossover, which is corporate neglegence.
It's when the difference in voltage between all the cells in series deviates too far (1 volt) to the point where the computer's safety limits could interpret that the HV battery could be close to empty and full at the same time between the cell with the highest and lowest voltage.

Yeah the hybrid battery can be quite temperamental but thankfully it’s been going strong since the replacement

so whats the update of your prius. I have death tringle issue. while driving suddenly it apprears and sometimes engine stops means i can not change or shift gears and one day engine totally stops and immediately i pressed power off and then again power on and it starts.. within 15 days drive it comes two times and goes away as well. what can i do bro

@@StarFlyer-th8so get a diagnosis done to get codes, most likely it’s your hybrid battery, as that is mostly the main cause for the red triangle. But check your 12v battery voltage as well, a dodgy 12v battery can also cause issues.
