Yeah. Great frame and set-up. I've of the same mind. I'm going to hang on to my supersix evo for as long as I can and maybe upgrade the mechanicals at some point...or maybe not.
You’re a 100% right with the first class comment however, do it. It’s an amazing upgrade that whilst it doesn’t give you massive performance benefits, it’s an absolute joy to use. Go for it.
4i’s 👌 Been running the same for a few years and can’t fault it. I’m also wondering whether to upgrade to Di2, but the same again, replacement costs ar extreme🫣 Trek Emonda SL5 with Cosmic 45’s. Nice bike, I’m not yiur stealthy type, so like a bit of colour😊👍
Depends what you ride the most. If it’s mainly flat and fast with lower winds 60’s will be absolutely fine. I’ve got 50’s on my other bike and I’m not sure I’d go any deeper for crosswinds and climbing.
Went from ancient 9 or 10 speed shimano to 12 speed SRAM. Not sure whether it is the huge jump in generations or the electronics, but not going back to mechanical.
@@grantritchie Shifting speed and precision, no shifting force required, ease of installation, ease of setup/adjustment. You can finetune the rear even while riding, and once tuned, no need to re-adjust since there are no cables that stretch. Just a total win in my book.
Definitely don't think to upgrade to Di2, there is no little reason for this. Basically it's the worst upgrade. Going to electronic won't give you any benefit.
+1 on the new paint job! Would love to see that video
I’ll make some enquiries 👀
awesome bike and video. Love my Endurace too!
I would love to see a custom paint or a di2 conversion video! Great bike 😁
The di2 conversion has been done, maybe this is the year of the custom paint job 👀

@@grantritchie legend. Enjoy it, mate. You’ll never go back. 😂
Great video bro, I run a similar set up with Hunt 35 Carbon Aero wheels with GP5000’s and they’ve completely changed the ride for the better 💯

Di2 will be amazing for cold long rids and numb fingers 🙂
True! And no more cables to mess around with 😬
@@grantritchie even less if You go sram wireless system and ditch shimano😉
I feel loyal to Shimano, they were my first 😉
@@grantritchie I also prefers shimano, don't like changing front derailleur with two hands.
@@_________4292 go 1x ? 😂
How would it be with 60 mm wheels, or is that too much? I have an endurace cf 8 sl di2, looking for a wheel upgrade

@@grantritchie Thw Ritchie, mainly flat, but almost everyday wind at the Belgian coast, maybe a 50 mm is better?
Hi mate, how tall are you and what size frame is that? Cheers
I’m about 180cm and it’s a M 👍🏻

That’s two votes for no 😬
@@grantritchie having just upgraded (on a new bike) add one more for yes. No benefit other than being hugely enjoyable to use
Cassettes and chains are the same price no matter if the group sets mechanical or electronic 😂
