Spica NEVER had a bad song. They were one of my all-time favorite groups. Such a shame their company didn't continue promoting them. They were literally at their peak of their popularity until their company decided to give up on them. :(

Also Jiwon may have looked familiar depending on if you know about the show the Unit - she redebuted in the female group from that show but it got disbanded after a year.

Ugh so frustrating to be a Spica fan, before Mamamoo there was SPICA. The OG vocal queens and they sooo deserved fame but the community just wasnt ready for them and I am forever frustrated because they should have been BIG. When Mamamoo came in with the vocals and retro vibe I was soo happy to see them appreciated for the talent they possesed but I still wish SPICA had their moment in the sun.
You are correct. This was during a time when the kpop market was oversaturated with different GG's, and there were alot. Spica just got lost in the shuffle.
I'm sure the world is realizing what it lost-- More and more people are loving Spica for what they were and also they are starting to support Keembo for what it is and what it represents 💜

They weren't nearly as popular as they deserved to be, and yes they were/are extremely close. EDIT: The vocalist you like is named Kim Boa, she was originally the vocal trainer for INFINITE.

I enjoyed watching this. It's always entertaining to watch the "discovery" voyage for Spica. They were, truly, something else. I'm sure, by now, you know the story (stories?), so I won't dig into that. I will say that if you liked "You Don't Love Me" (the song that stopped me in my tracks with Simply K-Pop on in the background and made me sit down to find out what group THAT was) then look for the KCON Abu Dhabl 2016 performance. It's a more "dynamic" arrangement of the song. As for Boa, what I like (and what I think you picked up on) is that she always leaves it all on the stage, the recording studio, whatever, she lets it all go (all out all the time). Bohyung is more subtle, but it's still the same attitude. I love how it's all come together with Keembo tho' - better late than never. The whole package tho' with the skills of all five...not much else to say.
