    Great Show Ol'Boy, Love it. So I have two Harley scooters me-self, a 1989 XL-1200 Sporty and a 1993 Electra Glide FLHS. I wired myself two difference ways to get my bikes to start, if no plug-in juice is available, I can plug in my Jumper Cables thru my Cigar Light that is mounted on the Handle-Bar ( from my Bike to another Bike, or a vehicle battery) , or I can hook-up the Battery Charger Cable at about the same location on your Bike. Plus if all else fails, I can always drift start it, so long as I am on the top of a High Mountain road ( Like Wolf Creek Pass). So like they say "Don't get Stranded" keep that Battery alive and be a Happy Man. Dead Batteries are no fun atall.
    My Grand Dad would always say: " Hay Hell Grass is Cheaper". So I learnt not to say "Hey Grand Dad, where the Cow", at a very early age in life.

    I love the tenders. I live in an area where it gets cld in the winter, i keep my bikes in my heated garage and i use the tender on then all the time. even in the summer when i come back from a ride, i plug in the tender. I just sold a 14 Indian Chief that had its original battery in it and it was great. I have a 2009 H-D Rocker C that is on its 2nd battery, its almost 13 years old and 2nd battery because i use a tender after every ride. I have a 21 SGS and i always plug it in.
    My point is, they are cheap and they work and they 100% prolong the life of your battery. Once your battery is drained (dead) its now damaged, my tenders keep my batteries at 100% all the time.

    I bought a Noco last winter for the bike, the car battery took a crap so I used it three times to get it started. I left it in the car all the time so the pack was always cold so it turned over pretty slow the first try but by the the third try the pack would warm up from the high current draw and spin the motor over a lot faster and started the car. it needs to sense a min. of two volts to boost unless you push the safety bypass button then it will turn a motor over with a completely died battery or no battery at all, I know because I tried it. I was skeptical but bought it on Black Friday and was not disappointed. It doesn't make sense that they work as well as they do, now I will have to get one of those adapters, I didn't know they made them.

  • @hautanenbrad4078
    @hautanenbrad4078 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    battery tenders when used properly work, if your battery is down on voltage it needs to be put on a charger and brought back to proper voltage then you can put the tender on. A tender will never bring a battery back to proper voltage no matter how long you leave it on the battery. i use a tender through the winter but will still put my battery on a charger and let the charger tell you the battery is good before i start the bike after sitting.
