This was a big help. I do astrophotography and I needed a background with dots to help with a focus issue I was having with my telescope. I changed the background to black and made the dots white. I then rescaled it for my needs. Thank you!

I had a bullet journal hand drawing that I wanted to animate in after effects. The drawing is created in Fresco and this bullet pattern I created in Photoshop following your steps. However the bullets are too bright and kind of smothering my drawing.. Guess I should have chosen a more subtle grey color.. Any ideas?
