Appreciate the tutorial. Easy to follow although after creating the first color clipping mask, I had to change the blend mode to darken before the black stripes took on the color. I then had to change the blend mode on the stripe pattern layer to darken for the the under color to show. Not sure why I had to these extra steps but it works in the end.
Thank you - so helpful!!! Needed the pattern to fill bar graphs for a HD scientific figure. The 50 px stripes were way to big, but scaling everything down has worked beautifully!
Not sure why it is behaving that way. Just double check you are using the line tool and that you have a stroke color selected and then adjust the stroke width
Weird. Just double check all your settings. Set fill to none, give the stroke a color. Click the gear icon and make sure the other stroke settings are normal
thank you for this.
Thank you, quick and easy :)
I wish all how-to videos were this easy to follow. Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Glad I could help!!!
Thanks for this! This is very useful! I can now mimic the spiderverse diagonal shading style using the seamless diagonal pattern. Thaaanks!
Thank you- very helpful!
I'm so in love with your voice!
Thank you, it helped me a lot

Yeah I don’t know why but sometimes Photoshop behaves differently then expected. Glad you could get it to work.
Super Helpful...Thank you
Thank you 🙏
i love you!! thank you so much
Super👍🏻🥰
thank you so much. I have been searching this topic for so long T.T There's not much tutorials like this on TH-cam. Respect!
♥ this actually made my life a lot easier! thank you so much!
When I try to recolor it, It all becomes a solid color, not only the stripes. Even after making the clipping mask...

Instead of command, it's control on a Windows' computer at 0:34.
Absolute true legend ❣
That voice though ❤️
Thanks! Very helpful!
thank you, it works for me
Thank you so much!
Hi, im looking to make a pattern of hatches so that the lines go from being thick to thin. can you help?
really helpful! would you know how to make the stripes multicolored and keep the background transparent?
Go to 3:23 where a new doc is being created. Keep the 'background contents' as 'transparent' and you're good to go.
Hello I just found your channel and it really help me! Thank you very much!
Good stuff!
Thank You❤️
Nice, thanks
Can you use the lasso or rectangle marquee to apply the pattern to a small area?
Yeah you can use one of the selection tools to apply it to a small area or create your shape and use a clipping mask to constrain it to your area
Very nice....
Thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful.
For some reason when I draw the initial line, it doesn't get bigger when I change the pixel to 50. Any ideas?
Not sure why it is behaving that way. Just double check you are using the line tool and that you have a stroke color selected and then adjust the stroke width
unfortunately, following this method to the T creates dotted lines, maybe I skipped a step somewhere, I'll keep trying.
You may have changed your stroke settings. Can be found in top bar of options. You have the option for straight or dotted lines.
Thank uuuuuuu
I am not able to use the Line tool. It's making zig zag shapes when I drag it with shift. Can you help please.

@@LemonPaperLab Hi, thanks for replying. It was fixed by resetting the line tool. I was successfully able to create it 👍
👍👌
Do you have a video where you show how to make diagonal stripes in multiple colors? Thanks
Thanks for the suggestion. Here is a video on how to create diagonal stripes with multiple colors - th-cam.com/video/tzfWkKGw3Fk/w-d-xo.html
@@LemonPaperLab Thanks!
Gratidão!
a 2+ minute commercial is a bit much. might want to look into how to get that reduced to a 30 sec. commercial
I’m not monetized yet so that is all TH-cam. Don’t think I have control over that.
