I love Keywords Explorer. My favorite feature in Keywords Explorer would be KD and Phrase match. I always find relevant content ideas using both features.
Howdy Sam! Loved the video. My favorite so far is the 10 step SEO one that you published a couple of weeks ago. Thank you so much for making such awesome videos. The one thing that I absolutely love about the Keywords Explorer is the SERP overview. There's ton of awesome stuff here including - estimated monthly traffic, backlinks, referring domains and top keywords. But there's another gem in here - all the keywords that a page ranks for. This not only helps find new relevant keywords but also helps understand topics to cover in the content.

Hey Sam, Good thing is that you have clearly taught us how easily we can use Ahrefs to find better keywords ideas. Even you give us keywords that help us to create blog post. I'm new on blogging watching your videos to get ideas even also learn something new that most of pro bloggers never told.
As you already mentioned, Ahrefs combines basically all necessary information. I don't need to use dozens of different tools. A simple feature like including or excluding terms in the results is just super important and yet you seem to be one of the only ones to integrate this. Compared to tools like SEMRush you offer a better view, better results, and even a better backlink-analysis. Unfortunately, I can't afford the monthly payments so a free month would be really awesome.
Thanks for your video. My main income in Social Security, so saving money at this point is super important. I'm trying to start a writing business, and SEO is BIG in the way to make it work. I cannot afford Semrush and others, so just checking for the best ways to do keyword research for as cheaply as possible without totally shooting myself in the foot businesswise. I do like many of the features in ahrefs like organic search volume, suggested keywords, suggested questions, keywords difficulty scale, competitors ranked keywords and some other things as well. Each one contains values that that help me to optimize my site's. Hope ahrefs will continue to help us this ways.
Hey Sam! Thanks for considering my request about google correlate as you had replied. Also, my favourite feature of the keywords explorer is the number of clicks data, because knowing the number of clicks for a particular keyword can sort your life out as you may then know what amount of traffic to expect and if it is even worth targeting (as it takes a lot of time and effort to create content around a keyword and then do Off-page for that content). I also love the phrase match filter I think it's amazing. With so many features I never feel the need to go to any other tool. :)
I liked the fact that you take the time to explain the different uses for the different keyword platforms. It was also a good idea to show how you can use them in sync with one another.

Hi Sam Oh. In ahrefs keywords explorer I like Keyword Difficulty (KD) feature most. It helps me to plan accordingly to KD score. It also tell the top ranking url on particular keyword and also with it's backlink score that thing I like too.
I would love to use the feature where ahrefs shows the top 10 search results. From there, I can examine the top 10 pages for that particular keyword, and see also group of other keywords that particular page has rank for. That also shows the potential of a particular article to rank and obtain organic traffic effectively. As my opinion, keyword ranking is about ranking dozens or even hundreds of keywords with the same keywords with effective seo in mind - and Ahrefs has provided the provided the ideal solution to that.
I'm learning a lot from your page and videos, and as fairly new to this, I need it too. :) I don't suppose your contest may still be active, but here is my answer non the less. I don't need convincing on subscribing to Ahrefs, but a 30-day free trial could definitely help me while I'm learning the basics, to then be able to take full benefit of its awesome features when I start my subscription. In case the contest is still on, here are my action & answer: 1). I have subscribed to your TH-cam channel (and set notifications to ON / all); 2). From what I've learned so far, I liked the Keyword Difficulty function, as I will need to go for the "low hanging fruits" first, so I need to know which ones these are + the Phrase Match repost adding further relevant keywords to the Include sections also seems to be a top function/help I will be using a lot, as I will be needing a lot of on-point content ideas, especially as a beginner. The best feature I would like to use is the KD or Keyword difficulty. Since I have just started my blog, I want to set the KD to 0 and search for Keywords for my blog. I really want to make my blog big on the internet and am sure Ihrefs can help me in it.
Very respectable. You own the best keyword research tool available, but still, you promote other tools. This shows that you care more about your audience. I only wish your prices were more affordable :(

I like the questions features which I didn't even know about until today. I use Doug Cunnington's KGR method for finding low comp keywords but being able to find questions and sort by length is a a time saver over messing with excel all the time. Loved the interview with Ruan recently too, great stuff!
I'd love finding relevant topics with the ahrefs include feature. Also, explore other topic ideas for some of my weaker keywords to help boost those pages. The free keyword tools give me the obvious answers, I feel like ahrefs will give me some ideas I would never think of!

Peter, glad you enjoyed the video. There are a lot of "it depends" things that will not allow me to answer your question. Using WordPress is totally fine, but you need to make sure you get good quality content that will cover topics you can rank with. Additionally, your site needs to be well optimized in terms of speed and onpage optimization, like meta tags, etc. Finally, you will need to think about some backlinks, if you want to increase your ranking chances. So yes, it is possible to build an authoritative website, but there are lots of things that needs to be done. Good luck with your project! - Max

if different SEO tools shows different keyword volume, How to decide which is correct SEO tool? e.g. If Ahref shows 100 volume for a particular keyword, Semrush shows 1000 keyword volume for the same keyword, and Ubbersuggest shows 1000 volume for same keyword. How to decide which is correct?
One reason for the discrepancy is because Google Keyword Planner and other keyword tools that take their data from GKP groups similar keywords together (e.g. SEO, search engine optimisation, search engine optimization, etc.) This can inflate search volume numbers. Do you have different pricing rates for Ahrefs monthly plans for different countries? Because people of some countries can not afford payment in Dollars. They can pay in their currency rates like Rupees. (1 dollar = 73 Rupees approximate)
Would love to use many of the features to minimize the amount of keywords that are returned, IE. above 10 keywords, then article for kd of 2, kd of 3, kd of 4 (2 articles for each kd) and start with low kd to higher so that as domain authority raises having low kd is not as important.

Peter, glad you enjoyed the video. There are a lot of "it depends" things that will not allow me to answer your question. Using WordPress is totally fine, but you need to make sure you get good quality content that will cover topics you can rank with. Additionally, your site needs to be well optimized in terms of speed and onpage optimization, like meta tags, etc. Finally, you will need to think about some backlinks, if you want to increase your ranking chances. So yes, it is possible to build an authoritative website, but there are lots of things that needs to be done. Good luck with your project!

I would like to know if its possible also from the tools you mentioned if I could know the trend and popularity based on the country that I live or specifically state that I'm in.
You can do that in Google Trends depending on the popularity of that country. I believe for the US, you can narrow down to the state level. Just hover over the map and choose the state. We have a video on using Google Trends here which may be helpful.

if different SEO tools shows different keyword volume, How to decide which is correct SEO tool?
e.g. If Ahref shows 100 volume for a particular keyword, Semrush shows 1000 keyword volume for the same keyword, and Ubbersuggest shows 1000 volume for same keyword. How to decide which is correct?
One reason for the discrepancy is because Google Keyword Planner and other keyword tools that take their data from GKP groups similar keywords together (e.g. SEO, search engine optimisation, search engine optimization, etc.) This can inflate search volume numbers.
At Ahrefs, we show search volumes for each individual keyword without grouping them together.

Do you have different pricing rates for Ahrefs monthly plans for different countries? Because people of some countries can not afford payment in Dollars. Would love to use many of the features to minimize the amount of keywords that are returned, IE. above 10 keywords, then article for kd of 2, kd of 3, kd of 4 (2 articles for each kd) and start with low kd to higher so that as domain authority raises having low kd is not as important.
