- This is a segmented speedrun of Portal done with 15 Portals in the time of 13:47.640. This is the least amount of Portals that you can finish the game with. No scripts, hacks or cheat protected commands were used in this run.
Timing starts when the crosshair appears and stops as soon as the crosshair disappears after defeating GLaDOS.

This is actually multiple runners at once cut together, for those who don't know. It's basically splicing but honest and crediting everyone.
I mean splicing is basically onest but is sadly used most to cheat the "runner" on to the leaderboard. For example the 55min mario odyssey run.

They were only in some of the levels when Portal was first released. However just before Portal 2 was announced a patch from steam added a radio to all the levels that didn't already have one. This was for a special secret promotion.
If you notice in this video, when a radio is moved to a certain spot, the music from the radio changes to what sounds like an old dial up modem. These are actually SSTV signals, which was an old form of sending images via phone. Each radio in each level had a trigger spot and most had a unique SSTV image, while a few had some morse code messages.
These images lead to one code that lead to another which culminated in a user name and password, and a phone number that was hooked to an old dial up modem. This was in 2010, well beyond dial up era. If someone used their own dial up modem, with BBS software running and connected with this other modem they would find themselves connected to a BBS network. Entering the username and password would result in a data dump of concept art and other images from Portal 2, as well as a count down bar.
This Easter egg type patch was released on March 1st, 2010, but Portal 2 wasn't officially announced until March 5th. By the time the official announcement had been made, the gaming community had already cracked this first set of clues and puzzles. However the official announcement had it's own set of hidden codes that would reveal new things on the BBS network.

These speed runs are the most satisfying and interesting speed runs
Never had this unfortunately, but I've heard nothing but positive things/reviews about it. I really liked all the robotic voices involved as well. Thanks for the upload. Excellent run =)
