That's a nice g body. As the owner of an 87 SS I can tell anyone who is wanting one of these cars that this one has been taken care of. I know where to look and what to look for because I'm an enthusiast not just an owner. And she's tight and right. The engine is more than sound it's seeming perfect. The oil sending unit is nothing uncommon on these cars. Most of the time you can simply tighten them slightly but kudos to you for replacing it Nick. Whoever buys it will get a good car I honestly believe. Have a great day my brother.
Ive had 5 of these from 84 all the way to the last year in 88. Put a nice cam, a good set of aluminum heads and longtube headers with true 2.5" dual exhaust a 650 demon carb and a 3:73 posi rear and this becomes such a joy to drive
I’ve had about nine of these, a few aero coupes, some with the glass roof panels, some without. 83/84 rarely had T Tops because they were a separate order all alone. In 85 T Tops became part of a package and you saw more of them. I’ve actually seen a few 81 Monte Carlo’s with glass roof panels that were specially ordered.
I have an 87 ss original in white with Burgundy interior, whoever buys this car, ls swap it like I did and the thing will turn into a wrecking machine, you’ll stand out from the crowd for sure anywhere you go, that’s why I drive mine only in the weekends, causes to much attention lol
Nice car!!! You mentioned the tree sap and buffing it. With a clean car, all you need to do is take your spray nozzle off your hose, turn the water on, run the water over a section to cool it, then use your wash-mitt (rinsed out - no soap in it) to scrub lightly with the water on. This works on pine sap really well.
11th grad in high school. My buddy Dale shows up in this car (black) his b'day pres, and he drove us around town......QUICK! What a memory. We were listening to VH 1984.......
Man …the story about the little baby flying thru the air in Clarksville and landing in a fallen tree unhurt…. Is truly a miracle …. Thanks Nick how does Maple Motors do it ? All the great cars !
What a beautiful car, and I love the color. I've always had a soft spot for the '81-'88 Monte....they looked great, drove nice, and because it's a traditional Chevy, you could put anything you wanted under the hood
LOL! That one wheel peel made me think of a Grandmother leaving the grocery store parking lot after eating a grape to taste before buying from the bag before security shows up!
I know these are your cars but it really bugs me when you rub dirt or water spots off the paint with your hand. I don't know why but it does. Other than that I like your videos!😢
I first saw this monty on fusion kids channel when he walked the lot after the tornado... and now I can see why it sold so fast. Somebody's definitely very lucky to get this baby!
Nick, really nice Monte Carlo. I think you may have sold it a little too cheap. Its just about to hit that magic 40 year old mark. Glad you guys made it through the tornado. God bless you all.
Keep up the Great Work Nick, you Don't know how much I appreciate it. Dealing with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer so this helps & as soon as I can I need a project to work on just to keep my mind right & keep me going.
The color is beautiful and the interior is super clean. If this car is there next week, then people spent too much on Christmas gifts. I'm waiting for the day I can grace your lot to aquire a muscle car.
Love your videos Nick I am planning on coming down to some friends in Dadeville Alabama was thinking about coming down 1 65 route although I can't afford to buy a classic car I would like to stop and say hello and buy a t shirt it will be in mid April.
Blue lightning strikes from the maple motors in hendersonville, cool car these monte Carlos just awsome, thanks Nick great video stay cool Nick great video 📹 😊 😊😊😊😊
That was a cruiser up and down 86th Street, Bensonhurst, Brooklyn NY, in the 80s, under the B train el, when it was predominantly Italian wise guy wannabes, now all Chinese & Russian, those days gone.
SS was just a trim option that Chevy offered on all coupes. Had nothing to do with performance. You could even get SS cars with 6 cylinders back in the day.. 😂 SS meant bucket seats, console, emblems and maybe, depending on the model, maybe a hood with bulges. That's why there are so many fake SS cars running around.

Dammit, I miss my Burgundy ‘88 SS with a 383 stroker…it was a monster. Should never have sold it…
Looks nice but we need more '70 Montes. 🙂
Man …the story about the little baby flying thru the air in Clarksville and landing in a fallen tree unhurt…. Is truly a miracle …. Thanks Nick how does Maple Motors do it ? All the great cars !
Love that SS... I had a 86 and wish I never got rid of it.... Great looking cars Nick!
Happy all the classics were ok. I guess yall have good insurance on everything
That is the first Monto Carlo SS I seen without T-Tops
Interior looks like a SS clone. I had a brand new SS in 84 had bucket seats did not see one with a bench seat. Not to mention column shift.😂
What a beautiful car, and I love the color. I've always had a soft spot for the '81-'88 Monte....they looked great, drove nice, and because it's a traditional Chevy, you could put anything you wanted under the hood
Well Nick, this Monte sold fast and that means you all do your home work and I love it. Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC
That color is EVERYTHING. I’m having my LS painted an oriental blue like this. Cant wait 😍
Love the Montes . Especially the 70s. But that 84 is nice ! Good deal for who bought it !
Those cars look as good today as the did the early 80’s Still a head turner 👌👌
I have a 83 SS I'm third owner Chevrolet all the way🤘✌️😎
Sweet Monte, love that color. For some reason I didn't appreciate those G body's back in the day, but they are really nice.
Very well kept you don't see many of these in this condition at all it will sell fast no doubt 👍🏼
Absolutely beautiful blue Monte Carlo! Chevrolet should of offered this color! They would of sold a ton of them!
Damn that’s a badass car! I love monté carlos! Whoever bought that car is very lucky!
LOL! That one wheel peel made me think of a Grandmother leaving the grocery store parking lot after eating a grape to taste before buying from the bag before security shows up!
Sad, all the ads leading up to your videos are becoming very obnoxious! This Monte looks nice!
I know these are your cars but it really bugs me when you rub dirt or water spots off the paint with your hand. I don't know why but it does. Other than that I like your videos!😢
I can understand I detailed for years. I just know the power of wax lol.
👍
Lol
😂😅😆
What doesn't bother you internet critics
Love those Monte’s,not too fast however lots of class
I first saw this monty on fusion kids channel when he walked the lot after the tornado... and now I can see why it sold so fast. Somebody's definitely very lucky to get this baby!
Beautiful SS. Love a Chevy. The Kick-down is hooked up.
I had alot of fun with mine back in the day
My heart goes out to those folks in that area.🙏 Nick, that is one sweet ride.🏁💯
Thank you
Did not see the turn singles
I can feel the power through my phone...impressive 😢
It's less than 200 hp. The 80's were not good for American cars.
Very nice looking car not a race car with 305 but it's an eye catcher love the chrome wheel with rasied white letter tires 👍.
Those small blocks can be built into monsters
it has a turbo 350 c / lock up transmission down under,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
That was a Clean Monte Carlo SS not surprised it sold quick.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
No brake lights, no turn signals. Nice car though.
They do ride on the highway nicely. Grew up with those. Not the fastest things but for the time…not bad,
Nick, really nice Monte Carlo. I think you may have sold it a little too cheap. Its just about to hit that magic 40 year old mark. Glad you guys made it through the tornado. God bless you all.
Thank you!
What a cool car it was back in the day.. still is. Again, priced to sell quick.
16k?
Beautiful
Thank you
I gotta say there's an anointing on your business for not to be any or light, mild damage. 🙏🙏🙏Love Respect & Blessings 🙏🙏🙏
Keep up the Great Work Nick, you Don't know how much I appreciate it. Dealing with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer so this helps & as soon as I can I need a project to work on just to keep my mind right & keep me going.
I’m sorry to hear that, we’re glad we can help keep your mind busy! We hope you’re able to get that project soon, God bless
Looks so much like a Buick Regal. I can't believe y'all left that puppy in the middle of the road.
Arrg!!! I wish I had the money for this!!!!
That's such a pretty car and it sold for a great price. Well done.
Most of the mid 80’s muscle have been trashed. That’s a sweet one.
Can you keep me updated when you guys get another one in … I mean as soon as it hits the lot 📈
The color is beautiful and the interior is super clean. If this car is there next week, then people spent too much on Christmas gifts. I'm waiting for the day I can grace your lot to aquire a muscle car.
Glad you and family are safe from over the weekend.. it's a pretty vehicle
Thank you

Hey Nick how much this car 84 Monte Carlo
Is not ss .shift gear is on the floor.
SS clone but not a TRUE SS
How Chevy called this an SS model with a 305 in it?! Old schooler smdh. Nice car though but to me it doesn't qualify as an SS with that dinky motor.
