Yeah today I just noticed that at the scene with the egg and tomato (at 0:23), we can see the pages from of the novel which mob collects in the first episode of season 2. It’s an epic Op.
Notice how both this and season 2's OP end similarly: with Mob in a monochromatic background going 100%, but in one he's alone while in the other his friends are besides him, and in one he can't control the power whereas in the other he can. I think it reflects his development between both season pretty well.

I like that most emotions are expressed through the backgrounds rather than expressions, like if someone is baffled there would be a swirly murky colored background, or shock is cracked glass behind them. You really feel it rather than just see it.
So this is one of my first anime’s I’ve ever watch and when I saw that moment. I actually was a little turned off. I’m so glad I stuck through thou, this is one of my favorite shows. It’s def in my top 100

I dont watch a lot of anime, I got certain series I love but for the most part a lot of animes just dont do it for me. Mob strikes the perfect balance of not taking itself too seriously, whilst still having depth and I love it for that.
Seeing the last episode I just realized this Op is not talking to the viewer, but Reigen. Now it makes sense that it says "Move, move just like Mob" and "Salt Splash". It makes this Op 100% better.
Spoiler Alert! 0:22 Emi's papers. 0:28 Reigen in the destroyed city. 0:41 Reigen helping Shigeo deal with his feelings of love. 0:54 Mob energy sucked from Toichiro explodes and influences the broccoli seed. 0:57 Raised Broccoli turns into Dimple, Dimple becomes a Sun spicy takoyaki that enters Reigen. 1:02 Reigen has his reflection in Mob's family spoons, the spoons turn into Ritsu. 1:05 Ritsu turns into a cactus, the cacti become Teruki, Teruki is defeated by Shigeo. 1:09-1:16 Shigeo destroys the city in a demonstration of his power.
Yeah if I saw this and not see the show in this weird op my first thought would not be he absorbed a whole lot of energy and put it in a broccoly that turns giant.
I can't believe it's all coming to an end next week :( It's been an amazing ride and I'm proud to have been a mob fan through out the years it's a masterpiece of a show
I like how unlike most anime openings with this one you'll never figure out the relevance of what you're seeing in the intro until it pops up in the show but with most others you figure it out immediately lol

This show taught us what it means to fight for those you love and to be a good person. It also taught us how to count.

Ikr mob psycho is gonna be looked back on as a classic people are missing out the fight scenes are phenomenal and the animation is very unique makes the punches feel like they actually hurt the characters I love it mob psycho is undoubtedly up there with the likes of attack on Titan,hxh,jojo and death note also it’s better than one punch man imo tho I’d say one punch man has better comedy saitama is also a goat mc but mob is just relatable and you know real you can feel what he feels sometimes
