First, I’m a big fan. I enjoy seeing how much you love what you do and I hope to develop your flawless technique someday.
I do have a question, though. Was that a trigger under the kick pedal? Do you trigger the kick and, if so, why?
Girl, you really need to hook up with a bassist, guitarist and keyboardist of equal talent in terms of both performance and writing, and create a prog rock band. One, like Yes, with equal members all contributing to the stew. I'd argue for not going fusiony or the metal that passes for prog these days, but something closer to Yes, with a nice mixture of influences in the various members. You can be the Bill Bruford of the group.
I really miss those White widow drums. They had your sound built right in.

Nice use of quads. This is one technique that I practiced over and over again until I got it perfect. It's exceedingly useful and sounds bad ass in this application. The difference is... she doing one footed quads in some form of paradiddle, which requires an exceedingly fast foot and a lot of practice. Beautiful drumming by Anika, as always.
