you are such a great teacher Ali, it’s all those little explanations of what and why that make a difference to me as all that does not come naturally to me, but I am trainable🤣so I really appreciate your content and your teaching talents, not to mention your cooking!
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa Oh that is funny! I guess you can take the teacher of the teaching but you can’t take the teacher out of the teacher lol. I’m so glad you turned it into a wonderful TH-cam channel! Hope you’re having a great night❤️
You two are great together. You are friends and you have fun cooking together. You are blessed to have a husband who builds. This was fun to watch. And the Alfredo looks awesome!!!
Made this tonight and OMG it was delish. Better than any other fettuccini I've ever made or had. Thank you for putting up this video. Love your channel. Saving all kinds of stuff to try.
Ok, for recipe requests: Let’s begin with Eggplant Parmesan - spelling doesn’t count! Yummy. Nice lookin noonoos, as my DGGS would say. We have a Claros in Tustin, 51 minutes North of us up I-5 (traffic dependent. lol). Thanks for the recommendation. Well give it a visit. You two are a hoot!
Noted! If you haven’t been to claros you must! I haven’t been to that location, but they are all the same. The one in Arcadia is huge and the one I grew up going to. They make amazing sandwiches if you go at lunch. Thank you!
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa Arcadia! Small world. We were practically neighbors - but a few decades apart. Lol. Pasadena and Alhambra was our area. Moved way south in 1947.
I grew up in Monrovia. Most of our family is still in the area. My grandpa was in San Clemente so we were down south often. We loved eating on the pier. @@cynforrest
Lol So I totally messed up the pasta. I hate Alfredo, but for some reason I tried your recipe, OMG apparently I just hate store bought Alfredo!! I made Shrimp Alfredo using regular spaghetti's noodles it was off the chain. The shrimp I pan fried in real butter with a good sprinkle of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika( A lot), a dash of pepper and a dash of salt, that was good by itself! I did add a little more heavy cream and a little water, my sauce was really thick and stringy, that did just fine. The homemade pasta was too wet, which I thought it was. I got this electric pasta maker its a hand held one. It was awful, it seemed to be doing fine, but when cutting it off ALL the pasta stuck together. I had to use plain flour , that's all I had. I know it wasn't that , I just don't understand that type of machine. I have a pasta maker just like y'all's and a lot of attachments, but the mount thingys are broke and I gotten some clamps which worked really good and 1 broke and I keep forgetting to get one. I think I could have still maybe used it, but its been sitting for awhile and needed to be cleaned up a little. I was frustrated cause I could get that machine to work, lol I added a little flour hear and there. You are suppose to aim into the pot of boiling water and cut the pasta of and let it fall in the water. FAIL. It could have been the machine, I think I could have made the dough work on my hand cranked pasta machine. I love old gadgets!! They are the best! I love that dish so much, I had for dinner last night and snack later on and I am going to eat right now for my dinner tonight! Jim also loved it! :) Have a great day!
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa lol It was gross before I even had homemade. I am so glad I tried yours, I had a backup plan if I didn't like like. I was just gonna make me some Pharm noodles. Glad I didn't have too! Hope all of you are safe from this crazy storm that went through. I am in Central Al , we got a little rain and some wind from it but nothing major in our area that I know of. Prayers for the hurricane Helene victims!
That looks AMAZING! 😋
Thank you 😋
Looks delicious!! Now I'm starving!! (Stahhvin) I was born and raised in Boston until my late teens... so no "R" s. Lol
